This is a bit annoying. Monday night games? It's like they're trying to get the worst attendances and Sky viewing figures possible.

sky dont care about huddersfield rlfc, all they care about is viewing figures and profits. they wont care if the crowd is crap

What frustrates me is that they wait until the season is almost started before announcing these things. It probably won't make much difference to how many games I attend but I'm sure a lot of people who buy season tickets will have done so partly based on games being mostly on a Sunday with the odd one on a Friday or Saturday. I suspect the clubs would have been well aware that this change was going to happen and have conveniently not mentioned it whilst selling their season tickets.

its ok for folk like me ....single guys who live local but what about the families with young kids who have to travel a bit?
cant see many bringing their kids when their not gonna be home till late.....ah well , money talks as usual !!

not the best but monday night on sky could be good for exposure, works for the football...and the football season will be over

the attendance will take a hit though, and not many will come from hull kr who usually bring a half decent following

Looks like we got off lightly as most have 2 games on the monday and Cas have 2 away none at home, could say the same about Hull KR but one of theirs is effectively at home!

I work shifts. Had it been on the Fri, Sat or Sun I would have had to book annual leave (as I have for a fair few games) However with it been on Monday I dont, so it suits me and saves me a bit of leave. As mentioned above it works for football.

The Fartown attendance will be down, but the exposure will be massive, no football and alot of folk stay in on a Monday who dont on a weekend that might give our great sport a try!

I'm on lates that week so i've to use a holiday for the game

a load of balloch's if you ask me, do sky seriously think they will attract the armchair premier league " footy fans" who are so used to watchin live sport on monday nights?
this proves yet again that sky dont give a crap about the real fans.
