Try not to get too wound up by a few diots. I don't support Town but I wanted them to win last week. Remember that for every Giants hater there will be just as may who wish us well, they just don't go about spouting bile on message boards tho' and there will be ten times as many that are indifferent to us.
I spoke to some Town fans at the station on the way to Hull last week and they thought it was ridiculous that both games were on the same day and wished us well for the the Hull match. I was amazed they even knew we were playing.

And on the thread in question on DATM the op is shot down.

Yeah, I saw that - but there is a lot of abuse directed at Davy and the club as a whole.

They only jealous, we're a successful team playing at the top end of the elite league in this country, whereas they're plying their trade somewhere near the bottom half of the professional leagues

i might not like the team itself, but i actually think the fans turn out in great numbers for the level of footy played, town always seem to take large away followings, if only fartown could match their crowds , but with the level of rl that was played in the 80's/90's we lost a generation of fans, its getting better and long may it continue

Any point in this thread as its been said the opening poster got shot down plus alot of town fans wish the giants luck.....The ken Davy stuff does get abit boring on there I tend to stay out of it as I do support the Giants but obviously follow Town a hell of alot more....what happened ed alot of people off thats just the way it is!!
