It was debatable, but Saints would have won anyway. We played below ourselves but the pressure was getting to the stage where you would have caved at some point. Tonight is irrelevant, it's next weekend that counts.

Natural justice. You stole the ball illegally from Meli when he would have scored a try. Because penalty tries aren't awarded anymore, we only got a regular penalty. You avoided the score against you, we had to go through the whole set again. That was cheating play so no sympathy from me for that knock on that wasn't.

So playing by the rules you had another 6 attempts to break down a reserve team defence and failed, says more about you than us.

Perhaps posting on yer own forum about what went wrong really might be more constructive than claiming a moral victory on here by a try that SHOULDNT have been .

the difference with the so called meli try was that he was outside the try line so it wouldnt have been a try anyway, as for the knock on at the match it looked to go back, and when i saw again today from the comfort of my armchair it still went back

He was going over so it probably would of been. Penalty Try though can't go off "probably".

And the knock on merely gave us field position, you had a chance to repel the attack, which was woeful.

Don't get too excited, Meli was our deserved MoM.....which sums it up really.

Think over the game our reserve team did a pretty good job of it, and I think you know that too, remember this was our reserve team.

Think back to 2 weeks ago when our first team showed that we are more than capable of repelling your attack, which was truely woeful, the best one man attack style I've seen
