| Just read the thread and amazed at lack of respect from couple of hudds posters? That scoreline can't happen by chance and despite Hudds knocking on door our defence was the difference and suddenly our attack clicked.Heffernan had a dream game after being bit outclassed early season.Mirrored by whole team. The improvement has been there but really good all round performance tonight. Can we beat Saints or Hull? Who knows but I do know we have gone to Huddersfield with much more vaunted teams SL era and can only remember drawing? (May be wrong)Said elsewhere Dale in particular and the 2 Polynesia were very good but rest looked lazy.Wouldnt want to play hudds next as the players will feel they owe a performance? Think our lads felt robbed in France and found some testicles. Anyway wish you guys well

I could have got a team of mates together and beaten hull kr tonight.
Can’t even beat a team that bad'"
Of course you could. Still if it makes you feel better, continue posting garbage.

It wouldn't surprise me.
With last night's dire atmosphere, it was easy to hear the players on the pitch and what they were saying. The way Brough was talking at (shouting at) some of them, it does not indicate a happy team culture.
I've been pretty positive about the Giants so far this season, but last night was as bad as it gets.
Both our halfbacks looked old and slow

2005? Warrington v Hull in the playoffs?
He is a big problem for Huddersfield as I see it. Offers nothing these days, and he was never that good in his prime. He has always gone missing when the pressure has been on. Not to mention his off field issues. Can't believe he has just got another extension.

Ps I think you’re talking rubbish regarding the players who won’t sign due to Brough signing an extension and it’s not even worth commenting on the crap you’re saying about the drinking culture.'"
he did take us to next level and thats why he was tolerated, not now, and he will probably be offered a role after as thewlis will look after him and you dont want to believe it but the players 100% dont like brough and made it clear when away on army camp, all they said was ignored and brough got another deal, mate believe what you want but its the sad truth

Absolute rubbish and a typical HullFC fans comment regarding an ex player ffs.
In his first 3 seasons at Wakefield and his next 3 at Hudds he was utterly superb END OF. Without doubt the most naturally gifted player in SL at the time END OF.
Danny's only weakness was Danny and now his skills and strength have deserted him he's no use to anyone because it exposes him for what he is - and that's not a very nice person.
Yet despite that for many Trin fans and I suspect Giants fans he's a flawed legend.

I was being kind of facetious, but that game I mention when he had Andrew Johns in his pocket all night is still the best I've seen him play.
He was a very talented player no doubt and has done great things for every club he has played for. My issue with him, and the reason I would never have picked him for GB/England has always been his tendancy to choke or to do something really stupid when the pressure was on him in the really important games.
In his prime you could have described him as a flawed genius. These days he is just flawed.

| There is some true rubbish talked on here sometimes, Does anyone think if Brough left tomorrow the giants would suddenly learn how to play rugby. He is not the player he was that's true but you can not fault his effort nor that of most of the team, It's not effort that's lacking it's skill, They are utterly predictable in their attacking and sadly woeful in their defense most of the time, they look like they are already relegated.
If there are not changes made at the top of the club soon they will be down the tubes and it's exactly what they will deserve. HKR will not be fighting for honours this year but they are a lot better side than we are even with our fist 17 out ( if that ever happens ) We can call Brough all we want but we are paying players who only play a couple of games a season and others who's season doesn't start till August or whatever, Somebody at the club has really got his finger on the pulse and it just goes on and on and on, Talk about one step forward and two back, When rick Stone came we took one step forward in surviving , we are still on that same step two years down the line.
And yes i haven,t posted for a while ( for the man who keeps tabs ) but there are plenty of posters who are not on here twice a day and they are usually the one's who talk sense

| I watched you guys play against Wakefield and last night and I think if some of you think Danny Brough is the issue then the problem ig a lot bigger than you think. In fact, i'd say in both games he was one of the stand out players for effort in your team and in the first half against Wakefield he was superb. As for last night, do you expect him to produce miracles? You wouldn't have scored for the rest of the game if you had Cooper Cronk at 7.

| Quote: jools "They are making yards- but there’s not a decent offload amongst them.'"
They do have decent off loads jools but after 2 season's under the coaching talent's of Mr Stone and Co they now don't look for the offload. It's almost as if they are being told not to offload at any cost or they'll be dropped for the next game. That's how I see the team at the moment, no ambition, no flair just 5 boring monotonous one up drives then kick. A couple of times in the second half the forwards did get an offload away and hey presto the person receiving the ball ran straight back into the ruck???????

Totally agree - I think that in both games Brough showed some spark, but there was nothing around him to catch fire. Ferguson tried, but the rest seemed to be going through the motions.

| Whilst I disagree with the concept of the Middle 8s, chiefly because those in them can start recruiting immediately in the knowledge that they are safe for the next year, They do have a positive.
KR were overloaded with ageing, past their best, journeymen. Being relegated negated their contracfted and ensured the opportunity to get rid of them. Adept recruitment of younger keener players and quality experienced ones has produced a team far, far better.
Yes, the Wakefield game was a culture shock to the younger ones who were mesmorised by the pace of Superleague, but last night showed that they are recovering from this. Get rid of your Broughs ASAP and build a younger fitter team under a decent coach.
Didn't we put a bigger score past you at your place on a Monday night 5 years ago?

Don’t think anyone on here is questioning broughs effort- but his one dimensional playmaking, poor passing and decision making is the issue
