he's not a bad player but in my opinion he is no better than what we have already - no offence to Wakefield but if we want to progress we need to be aiming higher than Danny Brough

not sure if he is better, but he is certainly different from anyone we currently have, so offers more options in attack.

Would much prefer to take Brad while the end of the year and then reassess. I don't want us to sign Brough, the lad is trouble.

So what combo will it be? Brough-Robinson or Brown or Fulton.

Brough has massive pace up the middle of the park and a brilliant kicking game and I think would add something to the squad which we lack at the moment, him and Robinson together could be brilliant or disasterous, and it would let Kev back to his best spot at centre where he really could do some damage.

Then again, he has a terrible hair cut and is temperamental.

Has the club announced it yet? Till then it hasnt happened.

The big question is - Is he worth the reported £100,000 fee?

I wouldn't pay £10k for him, never mind £100k.

If he comes it should be on the condition he leaves his 'Badger Barnett' at Wakie.

My concern about this is that it feels like a panic buy.

We lost Carney ( and reportedly were going to flog Robbo)

We then tried to get Drew but couild'nt.

We then get Fulton who is crocked ,
we then go for Brough with big money.

What this has done for Brown and Robbo's confidence cannot be good. But it would seem that the message Brown is giving out is you are not good enough

Is davy looking for a successful season so that we can keep the speccies next year when season tickets go up
