If Mellor is going/signed for Hull then good luck to the lad if he’s got a better offer.

However from here onwards he would only play when it suited us hopefully as players return from injury.

My first choice back three would be Wardle, Ta’ai and Turner and concentrate on improving Sam Hewitt rather than Mellor.

I think Mellor is a decent second row but not a centre if keeping him meant paying silly money the right decisions been made.

Been told today its KR that have shown massive interest in Mellor, not FC.

I agree that if hes gone and and we cant make the top 5 then develop Hewitt before Mellor. The only thing that worries me long term for Hewitt is that he is extremely small for a forward.

If Mellor does re-sign then its really hard to see how were going to be able to strengthen the squad further with only Matagi & Farrell OOC

I’ve heard a rumour from an accurate source that Mellor asked for the same money as Roberts and was told no.

Mellor is twice the player that Roberts is now but it seems though that we have a lot of cap tied up in Roberts which appears to have been a huge error.

ha roberts is stealing a wage at giants.... got that big contract then stopped progressing
