From reading it, Stone did the right thing. Seems Eorl was bravely prepared to carry on but Stone thought this unnecessary. I'm glad the club has done the right thing by him, offering him the new role. He often talked about clubs treating players like 'pieces if meat', l feel he's had a testing relationship with this at times and will be glad to be going onto the next chapter.
