good world cup but i mean for the giants, when it has come to the big games like the play offs he has not produced the goods that we know he can, im a fan of him....has brilliant games... especially against the lower clubs but then when it comes to the playoffs we expect him to carry it on but not seen it as yet
lets hope he produces this sunday...would class this as a big game

| Hopefully Percival, Walsh, Amor, Walmsley, Manu and LMS back for this and no new injuries picked up vs Leeds.

| On current form, a massive task to best saints.
Their resolve in defence was breathtaking at times last week. Something that we have within us (last season showed this), but the last couple of games we just haven't shown.
With their returnees they look a top outfit, added into this our absentees then it really does look tough.
But....... Brough, Robinson, Lunt, mcgilvary, Crabtree, Broughton, Faiumu..... We have some top drawer players. These players haven't become bad players. Something in the mix isn't right, but we can turn it. It might happen against saints, it might not, but I'm confidant it will turn this season. Sooner than later.
Granted, some of PAs decisions and selections I don't agree with, but I still have utmost faith in him. The non use of 17th man seems to be a modern coaching trait. England v New Zealand (ablett never came on), Leeds countless times, wire a few times if I recall, off the top of my head. Don't get it myself, and I'd love to know the reasoning behind it.

leeds seem to be not using the 17th man a fair bit too..
i think we can win this game but we have a bigger task with our first choice centres missing now im afraid
backline maybe of
grix
mcgillvary
connor
murphy/ferres
broughton
might not be good enough..... anyway they wont get the ball if the forwards dont lay the platform!

| I would deffo have Connor in this week, think this is an ideal game for him....we're not playing well, we will be underdogs, he is a ready made replacement without having to move others around, he's young, he's talented and he's played very well everytime he's been called upon.
Agree about starting Eorl off the bench, i want to see the old Eorl - the impact he used to have coming off the bench gave us a huge lift at times.
Murphy should also come back in as i feel he did nothing to warrant been dropped.

| I don't like the idea of Eorl and lung off the bench- the way the giants are playing if we get behind that'll be heads gone.

Mulally (recalled)
I'd risk disrupting the halves for the sake of having a world class 9 combo. I rate bailey as a ball handler, and looks to have a cool head on his shoulders. I'd bring mulally back for the bench. Eoarl on bench also, to try and maintain power in pack, from start to finish. Faiumu to be spelled in 2nd row.

| I think it's highly likely you will face the same back line that Leeds did last week. Walsh is rumoured to be improving quicker, but nothing certain yet about him playing.
The Forwards for Saints should be bolstered.
