Costigan didn't arrive till well after pre season began, I don't think he will be upto full speed till after around a month of the season kicking off.

I didn't go but James Green is possibly the prop your thinking of, been brought through pretty slowly over recent years by both Morgan and Sandercock. He got a good review after the previous pre season game, we are pretty strong in the pack this year so he might have to be patient but hopefully get a chance at some point.

Was a good workout not the best game to watch.
Anyone know if Faiumu is injured as I don't recall seeing him out on the pitch.

I thought he would have been able to pick Cox out as he has played a fair amount of first team in the last few seasons. Easily mistaken, this must be the year Cox kicks on, got enough experience under his belt now, time to shine for me.

He's had just over 3 weeks of Pre season training. I missed the game yesterday but managed to watch the 20 minutes he played against Hull. On the game time I've witnessed He'll put in a fair share of work and some really big hit ups. By his own admission he's well of the pace and has stated that he's more then willing to do extra work on his days away from training to catch up with the lads. He's the PNG Captain and after the limited time you saw of him yesterday I feel your comment by be a little harsh.

Talk is cheap- but doesn't tell us anything about whether he will be worth the money. Look at o Donnell!

Cox is a very good prospect. He could always join Taylor at Wigan if he really wants to improve himself.

hope this doesnt put the club off hosting a home pre season game again, not long ago we never used to get one and now we do people dont turn up. Was never going to be a big crowd but still.
