How many there are with this view is debatable and it's interesting that a fair few seem to be part of the 'lost generation' of fans who grew up when Fartown were lurching from one crisis to another whilst Town were in the midst of the Micky Buxton era when Town played some of their best ever football. These people will always be Town fans first and foremost. The Giants true future is with the kids who will not have this baggage and who need attracting at an early age as possible. The number of families / kids have grown significantly in recent years and its imperative to the future success of the Giants that trend continues.'"

Long story - to do with when Ken saved their club from extinction, part of the deal was that he got to buy their 40% shares in the stadium for £2 as thats all they were valued at at the time, Town fans have demanded that he gives them back now that the new owner/chairman has pumped money into the club he loves (but didnt want to know when Ken had to bail them out) and it basically turned into a hate campaign against him. |

Just out of curiosity I wonder how much it has cost Ken to bail out Town and the Giants without him there wouldn't be either football club or Rugby club.

If you know that for a fact, and if it came from Ken himself, do you not think that he might have said it in confidence?
If it didn't come from Ken, then the words 'I've heard that' might be a good addition. |

What we should be doing now is putting posters up all over town and outlying areas showing the league table and how well we are doing, maybe folk aren't aware how good we are this year and if they realise it might entice them to come.....get some offers on for the last 3 homegames (maybe a package deal and a reduced play-off ticket if they buy).
We're 2nd in the league, quarter finals of the cup but how many possible fans know this ??
