What do you expect from a club that has 4 members of staff in a commercial and marketing department.

Went down there today to collect our season tickets and had a look at the shirt, and the quality compared to previous years looks very poor.

The shirt is expensive anyway but at least the quality was good, not this year, it looks like someone as spray painted the logo's on - sorry I'm not impressed.

i wont be buying it, even if i did like it,i just dont think 47.99 is justified, i have to laugh at people who complain about having to pay so much when the shirt is crap. . dont buy it then!!
i will be wearing my old shirts again until the club produces a decent replica shirt, wouldn't it be great if a retro style claret and gold hooped shirt was brought out rather than the purple/yellow monstrosities we are seeing lately

went to look at club shop merchandise yesterday and the new shirt is a disgrace.

For a club to even accept reciept of these goods is absolutley appauling.

The quality of the kits being sold on the teddy bears is even better than the quality of the shirts being sold for the fans!

I have bought a new shirt every year for the past 10 years but i will NOT be buying the new home shirt unless the quality significantly improves before the season starts.

Lets hope the away shirt is a better quality!

And to top it off a new delivery of shorts had arrived so i asked if I could buy a pair. I was told they were not for sale as they had not been priced up yet!

I left the club shop feeling very angry!

I will buy one ONLY if I can get hold of a PLAYERS VERSION. I hope Richard Thewlis does read this board - we don,t need an on line petition just someone to hopefully realise that the standard of the new shirt is not worth paying nearly £48 or £43 for and to offer a players version of the shirt. Maybe rather than just reading this board it would be nice to know and have some feedback from the club on this one. I hope Mr Davy reads the board or at least someone could inform him that the club will lose sales due to the inferior quality of the product. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the weight of last years shirt nor the year before so why the change.

I have a lot of dealings in terms of presenting items and information to staff in my job and if this was me i would have been ashamed to have been associated with it. Thank goodness i bought home and away last year

as the away kit will be of the same quality just a different colour. its the quality that shocks me. We have been spoilt these last few years with the garment quality but this clearly isnt in the same league but is priced as it is

Had a look at the new home shirt on Saturday morning, what a bloody disgrace, I have either bought had or had a Giants shirt as a Christmas present for at least the last 10 years. Not this year, the quality is crap and I think my 3 year old grand daughter could have done a better job designing a new shirt. All I can say is if the club are so intent on ripping off loyal fans why not go the whole way and produce a shirt with velcro fastening collars and cuffs.

its the price which is alot. but always has been for buying a giants shirt, think its same across the board for all super league clubs though
