I get where your coming from with the ops bit but I personally think that we should give everything are best shot even if we have an unlikely shot at 4th I’d still rather be 5th than 8th

What about next year? Would you rather be 4th or 10th?
Our bad start to the season is why we found ourselves struggling as we got behind due to a poor preseason. I’d rather we didn’t find ourselves in the same situation.
Of course it could be that everyone is good to go and no ops are needed in which case ....crack on!!!

I've changed my mind about this. Previously, I'd have said it's time to prepare for next season, but actually when I think about it, the season isn't over. It's not really fair to short change the supporters coming through the gates who want to see the strongest team. If they can wait for an op, then they should do.

Also, I read an interesting comment somewhere that the higher we finish, the more prize money we earn, so everything is to play for in my book

Also have a good end to the season finish 5th that’s going to attract more people next season then If we finish 8th people want to see there side win

Your playing some terrific rugby the best you've played all season with 8 games still left to play, you could well have players playing with knocks but you can bet the other teams will have the same problems, and unlike 3 of them you don't have to fit in a cup semi final.
I hope your coach buys into the same opinion as some on here starting with Friday night, it will make a very difficult game for us a lot easier, as for the prize money if things haven't altered 8th place gets zero, and from 7th it goes up £25k every place unless it's gone up.

I absolutely love seeing matty play, but he's taken a lot of knocks to the head recently and it's difficult to drop anyone from the team that won against Cas!

Even the weather is on our side- no rain as initially forecast just a warm dry muggy night. Perfect for brough to keep turning those big wakey props round, wearing out fatty fifita, Huby and Pauli - meanwhile we can keep playing our recent expansive game without poor handling conditions. Perfect.

It was extremely warm last Sunday afternoon and our big guys didn’t seem to have a problem although clearly your lot will present a much tougher challenge than a busted Hull side could muster.

Of course your big guys didn’t have a problem they didn’t have to do owt! let’s be honest the distance they’d have had to run would be minimal the team having ball in hand for as long as you did. The metres your pack did with ball in hand is just about the only work they needed to do!
Different kettle of fish when you are doing lots of defending and constantly running back and forth to the ref. Brough will keep turning your big lads and that’s a LOT more energy sapping than what they had to do last week!!!
