| Giants really must be in serious decline when even that mediocre side Hull FC can stuff you with ease.

| What a handful Jermaine McGillvary is, every time he got the ball he took some putting down, definitely deserves some credit.
100% effort from him.

You were spot on with that , exactly what you feared would happen.

| are we surprised by lastnights result? im certainly not, short turnaround like last year and we got the same result..no ferres/cudjoe/faiumu
loving the bookied prices on us at the moment hull 11/10 to win
as soon as grix made a balls up the writing was on the wall.
had a chance to get back into it early in the 2nd half but didnt take the chances.. always going to be knackered after that with the energy levels.
salford up next, will be interesting to see the prices for this one from the bookies...knowing our record there!

| I think at the moment singling out individuals - Grix, Brough, whoever - isn't going to solve anything. The problem is team wide. Yes Grix was stupid to start throwing punches, yes Brough is causing himself problems with his attitude towards referees, but it's the same ill-discipline and poor decision making that Wardle showed in keeping the ball in, the Taai showed in a farcial attempt at an off-load, that Robinson showed in a shocking forward pass. I do think there needs be some changes - I'd love to see Conner get his chance - but we're fooling ourselves if we think dropping a couple of players will turn things around.

Thought our 2 wingers were our best players on the night.

Assuming Salford don't lose to Bradford (and there is a chance they will), I'd guess Salford will be 8/11 and us 5/4 or so.
Our best chance is that idiot Iestyn Harris will ruin Salford like he did Crusaders and wrecked Wales World Cup hopes and if there is one coach in Super League I would not touch with a barge pole it would be him.

| I was disappointed last night, i honestly thought after Sunday we would be pumped up for Hull, i at least expected a close game but we were never in it. We let them do exactly what they please and our jelly-like pack opened up again as usual. They are the biggest disappointment for me this year.

Your not wrong Ferres and Chan have looked good at times but the rest have underperformed badly.

| The game was lost for you once you gave the soft tries away at the start. You were in quicksand at that point and never recovered.
Some credit has to go to Hull though. They were at 100% completion rate quite a long way into the 2nd half. I thought they played really well.
My favourite bit (with the hindsight of knowing e's OK) was the part where Bailey got knocked out in a tackle and his own team mate helpfully shoved his head into the turf to make sure. Sort of summed up the first half for Hudds in a way.
I wonder if Mr Grix has any idea where that little meltdown came from? Seemed a bit out of character?

To be fair Grix has really sorted himself out this season and moments of madness have been far and few between but the crowd certainly got to him last night and I am sure it was just a blip.

| Goto say why doesn't grix run the ball back! It's not that hull got into him he does it 9 times out of 10! Wether it's jerry or Jodie the winger always gets that offload from him after collecting a kick!
Just curious not criticising! Would be great to see him running back hard at the line like hardaker, Russell ect!

yep anywhere near 100% completion rate and your going a long way to win the game... simple really!

he's not that type of player, broughton and mcgillvary are strong ball runners so no problem really for me.
grix is great at organising the defence and backing up.
would love a russell or hardaker type full back though..russell looks like a future star
