Hope the away games are do-able by train.
The home games are 3 local derbies so i will hope the club ( with Bri Blacker and Eorl now in charge of marketing) come up with something to entice the paying speccies, a ticket deal for all 3 or something along the lines.
Also hope we target the town fans, they're in a good mood at the moment and as long as we don't mention the S word we may be able to tempt a few to come to these.

Sorry to spoil your story, but they can't build houses on it.

The key phrase being "wants to"
Your assertion they "can't" build houses on it is based on what?
It was said developers couldn't build on the lindley moor green belt land....
Hundreds being built there as we speak...

We didn't 'cancel' it, it was us who requested the change due to the stadium staff going to Wembley.'"
Daz can you explain why a company owned by Dean Hoyle lodged various charges over the stadium on the 12 April 2017 where his company are noted as lenders to KDSL?
In addition in the last filed accounts the stadium was valued at just over 18m a figure which depreciated by c1m on the 2015 accounts figure and KDSL made a loss of 227k in the 2016 financial year.
Therefore 40% of the stadium value is c7.2m (probably less when this years reduced value is taken into account) and they reckon getting into the premier league is worth 200m. Even if town go straight back down they get 3 years parachute payments worth another c90m.
Consequently, it is utter folly to say town don't have the money and it looks like their chairman is already making moves to secure the asset or at least control it.

Just pointing out that your clubs position may not be as secure as you think and that some of your fans taking the pee out of Wakey and stating you own your ground may want to do some research before they come on all holier than thou

| It's a huge white elephant for us, i would be delighted for Mr Town to spend some of his clubs huge financial windfall on buying us a new stadium, as Town fans keep telling us he is going to now they are 'in the prem'.
I'm not quite sure it would be allowed to happen though as as part of the original deal i'm pretty sure it was a deal that meant it had to remain a shared stadium, again though i'm not privvy to any business deal, i just turn up once a fortnight and once during the football season and watch games there!.

They can have as much money as they like. But under the terms of the agreement no side can sell or buy any shares in the stadium without agreement from all the other parties.
Sorry to pee on your parade and all that.
(Oh- p.s. KSDL has on its board of directors dean Hoyle, ken Davy, Richard thewlis, and Julian winter)

Did you miss the part where a company owned by Dean Hoyle has lent KSDL money against the stadium and that as part of the agreement his company as lender have a say in various things relating to the stadium and can take ownership in the event of default

Did you miss the bit where the 88m group own all 100% of Belle Vue and the attached land ?? It's owner is Manni Hussein.
It was for sale at £600,000 but the club didn't buy it did they ??
If Carter pulls out of BV and goes to Dewsbury or somewhere else it's something Huddersfield RLFC have never done they've always played in the Town.
So thanks for being so vigilant about our part ownership of the John Smiths perhaps it's because you dont have any ownership in your own.

PS... Maybe if you shared with a football club and the Council you'd be staying at Belle Vue.
But hey maybe you dropped the Wildcat to become the Wakefield Trinity Rams next year

Yes us wakey fans know all that so we don't pretend we own our own ground or start saying that they can't get us out even when the evidence is in the public domain that the local football teams owner has lent the stadium company money against the stadium and can take ownership if there is a default
carter was going to bid for BV but was discouraged from doing so by Rodney walker who told him York court were going to secure it and by the club bidding it would only push the price up. Something else that is in the public domain. Like I said before if you are going to comment on things do some research first
This week is a key week for Wakey and IF a solution can be found we won't be leaving Wakefield to play other than away games. In addition, as the only professional sports team in the actual city we won't have to worry about being turfed out of any new community stadium that MAY get built.

Now that football team is in the premiership let's see how long they want to continue to share and whose fixtures take priority. Wigan Athletic were in the Championship and still an RL game was cancelled so they could play a fixture instead so what chance do you have ?
Also just remind me which club was merged with Sheffield and played some games there before asset stripping and going back to just playing in their own town not long after getting a big cheque from the RFL?

Again mate get your facts right Sheffield Eagles were £1.4 million in debt had just virtually given their no 1 asset Keith Senior to Leeds and the Rugby League were desperate not to have them go bankrupt.
If that big fat cheque had been ours do you not think we might have invested it in better players ?
The reason the games came back to Huddersfield were virtually no one from Sheffield turned up and the rent to play the match their was a fortune.
The only other asset worth stripping was Mark Aston but he formed the new club so as most of us die hard fans suspected it did no one any good in the long run.....
