Do you support the giants? you want a player like that playing for us, when he clearly does not want to be with us and he has no pride to wear the shirt well in that case i sugest you support a different team. No matter how good the players are if they dont want to be with us or do something like that then they should leave.

| that was by far the worse performance ive ever seen from brett and it werent a surprise that its against his future employers, that performance got you wondering if his hearts there at all now, and if that story is true then its time he was dropped and we thought about getting a new fullback or banging cudjoe cak there and getting a new winger, obviously bretts given up so why should our team suffer because hes a glory hunter who dont want to play for us no more

It's not clear that he doesn't want to be with us though. He's off at the end of the season but he's a professional player. They're all playing for money at the end of the day.

This is the last thing I am going to say on this but you are clearly missing the point here. Firstly I havent said I would boo BH. Secondly had Jamie Peacock given the thumbs up to the Leeds fans whilst playing for Bradford that would have been quite ok for you then?.
Thirdly - I have no problem with him moving on thats up to him and I agree securing his future for himself and his family is what matters. If thats at Warrington then thats fine - good for him and I dont blame him at all!.

It's all Hodgson's fault. Nothing to do with the forwards and wide players being outclassed then? In fact if I were looking for a scapegoat I'd personally go for the other Hodgson or Whatuira.
It must be gut wrenching watching last seasons man of steel turning out for your team.
What would make you happy if he got a Huddersfield Tatoo or if he died playing for the Giants? Is that commitment enough?

| this thread is absolutley pointless
its a hand signal and everyone wants him out the club
after everything he does for the club , got to the cup final ,won man of steel and now your turning on him just because of a hand signal to wire fans

| Isnt this a bit of a over reaction. He is a professional rugby league player, I dont think i would be overly happy if one of our players did the same, but i would not be screaming that he aint fit to play again. Your whole team played poor, your forwards were clearly 2nd best which makes it hard forMR BURNS at the back to do anything really.

for the record he wanted to stay with us, but he wanted a 2 year deal for obvious reasons, knowing it would be his last contract, we only offered 1 year so rightly so he found what he wanted elsewhere, good luck to him i say! And FWIW i think he will continue to perform for us for the rest of the season and do a good job. One bad day at the office does not signal the end of the world. Get a grip and get behind OUR team! COME ON GIANTS!!!!

| What a surprising thread, took a bit longer than I expected. So here he go, time to point fingers as we need a scapegoat and Brett Hodgson seems like the obvious choice. He lost us the game, right? Wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that our forwards were absolutely useless? Quick question. Where did we finish in the 2008 season? Answer, 10th out of 12 teams! Not exactly a club that could attract a multitude of top quality players, or be considered one of the competitions serious contenders. Well we are now and I thank Brett Hodgson for that. So for all you 'fans' who would like to predictably kick him on his way out the door, go for it. But I won't be joining you, I will be thanking the only Man of Steel our club has ever had for everything he has brought to us.

| Quote: Baron Greenback "I was cheesed off yesterday but what's done is done. If Hodgson's made some sort of gesture to the Warrington fans then meh. I think the club has more important things to worry about. And so do I. A nice carvery with my wife and kids. A couple of beers and a leisurely sit down in front of the Grand Prix followed by the Crusaders against the Dragons. Great days!'"
I don't think he did. The quote is he put his hand behind his back.
No doubt if he hadn't done that they'd be saying he took a breath in and that meant he was acknowledging them too.
This is a garbage piece from a one eyed source. It is utterly worthless.

| Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
I doubt any FB in world would have changed the result in our favour.
ATEOD players play for the people paying their wages not future employers. I doubt any waving, hand signals or even buying the travelling fans a pint before the game would affect his concentration during plays. We are on about an incident (whether accurately reported or not) that was whilst Wire were kicking one of their many attempts at goal during their training session against us.

| I don't know who's been going around saying Brett lost us the game because that obviously is not the case. I'm just naffed off that midway through a season that promised so much it is announced that he will be playing for one of our rivals next year. I'm unhappy about all the uncertainty that has followed Nathan Brown around since last season, with rumours that he is not happy here and will be heading home. If he gave a signal to the Wolves fans then good luck to the wee fella, but I'll be sure to be giving him a hand signal of my very own from now on...muppet.
The whole team was awful yesterday with the exception of maybe Aspinwall and Faiumu IMO. I'm really couldn't care less if I never saw Brett play for us again because he will be gone soon enough anyway and we need to look to the future, so why not start the process now and either give Cudjoe, Elliot or David Hodgson a good go at FB and have them prepared for next season should we not sign a new FB.
