Too many subs to do but they all did their part. English and Roberts ran and hit hard. Farrell is going to have a bright future.
Bulls will go well in the Championship I think, but the Giants are looking to be a top 4 SL side and today was a very early tick in that box'"
farrell has supposed to have had a bright future for about the past 5 years!! still dont think he will make sl only thing he has going for him is the goal kicking |

clough, taai, uate, cudjoe were still missing , why walne wasnt playing i dont know.
gaskell the star of the show today, you see with brough not around you will see gaskell flourish, hes a confidence player and when on form top class. he has had so much stick from fans over past few years.
ikahihifo was also a standout... once again showed why we would be stupid to let him go!!!!! only player who can actually break a tackle and offload.
frawley showed a few good glimpses, hes a ball running half and can see him making clean breaks this season.
one area of concern was the goal kicking and it seems we still havent figured out who will kick the goals... you would have thought someone would have been training for the past 3 months non stop kicking goals ![]()

I think the biggest issue for Farrell is his size. (Or lack of)
He looked sharp today- I thought he had a better game passing wise than frawley.

I thought Frawley was fine and linked with Gaskell well. Seemed to have a good clearing kick in his armory too.
Russell was very good when he came on but I thought he'd left for a year at Leigh.
Farrell did ok too. He just seems very small.

why? farrell been around alot longer and not achieved as much as russell... anyway doesnt matter farrell will be at batley/dewbsury whichever and russell at leigh this season |

Thought Frawley grew into the game tbh and looked as comfortable within the team structure as he possibly could at this stage.

thought we looked good in this though the opposition wasnt much gaskell and frawley worked well i thought, the young players looked promising as did seb but never read much into friendlies
