Thanks for the memories Eorl, for all you have done for the Giants cause, for sticking with us in the bad times, and for being a one club man, you are a true Giant. Really pleased that you have accepted another role within the club, and I am sure you will make a success of that too.
In this modern era you are a great example to others through your loyalty, perseverance and dedication to your hometown club. May we ever see the likes again given the turbulent ups and downs you gave endured through recent years? You are and will always be an icon for the club, and I really hope that you recognise the appreciation of the fans, not only Giants fans but also those from other clubs who also recognise your extraordinary dedication. Great sportsman.Never saw him retaliate or seek revenge after provocation.
Had he had some dog in him would have won a lot more international caps.

Only time i saw him lose his temper was when Tadulala had a pull on his pony tail.

I remember that time he gave Ryan Bailey a mouthful and waved come on then at him and true to form Ryan backed away!

I remember seeing him run down Cris Bridge, that was a great effort for a big man.

From reading it, Stone did the right thing. Seems Eorl was bravely prepared to carry on but Stone thought this unnecessary. I'm glad the club has done the right thing by him, offering him the new role. He often talked about clubs treating players like 'pieces if meat', l feel he's had a testing relationship with this at times and will be glad to be going onto the next chapter.

Would have been nice if he had a send off game.
