| yes the squad has been kept fresh this season and players are fighting for their places
look at wood for example last weekend and ellis the week before that, hungry to impress!
i think anderson has learnt something this season, giving the youngsters a chance and they have not let him down so he is trying it more... mason next on the production line

| the only one i would contend is Grix for Simpson, Jared has deserved to keep his place, and should do, but then the coaches might see something we don't, it might be the same for Leeming and others, the coaches will know if a player is ready for a game, they could be fatigued, physically or mentally by being exposed to first team, who knows?
as much as i have liked Grix as a player over the years, for me, he is a good backup player and offers vast experience, but as a full back i don't think he offers anything that Simpson, Murphy or Connor do in that position.

9 from 11 away? Pretty sure that's not correct. We've lost away to KR, Leeds and Wigan. Drew at Magic too.

Considering there are 12 away fixtures, included Magic and we have two to play its an absolute impossibility. We've only played 10 away from home this season.
Plus a fortnight ago was the Challenge Cup weekend, Brett didnt play against Widnes that weekend - it was three weeks ago.

| Oh dear, I didn't know we could find so many ways to shoot ourselves in the foot, 10 minutes gone and the game could and should have been well in our control, then nip and took but some shocking defence and Leroy really needs to get back to doing what we all know he is capable of, some of his reads and attempts at tackling were awful. after getting back to 34-34 and Saints kicking the re start out on the full, IMO a poor call to kick for the 2, lets get deep in their half, see if we can get over again from 3 or 4 tackles, if not set up a one pointer. Finally a delightful chip over the defence from Danny but a rush of blood to kick on again when the regather was the option deep in enemy territory and another chance for a drop goal. Jeez good job Baloo has no hair cos if he had it would have all been pulled out tonight

| With my claret and gold specs on I think the better team lost tonight.
Disappointed with result. Not disappointed at all with our play, nor our attitude. We are top 4 potential.

| Just didn't get our share of luck tonight. Should have put that to bed in the first 20 mins.
No doubt the loss will be grix's fault...

47035_1386433761.gif We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif |

To be fair Saints did their own fair share of foot shooting tonight.
10 points ahead with 16 minutes to go and we give 2 stupid penalties which lead to 2 tries and Huddersfield are level.
Until tonight Huddersfield had the best defence and Saints the second best defence.
But it was tit for tat tonight.

| Agree. Four clean brakes in first half and none made to count. The worst was Hughes ignoring two men on his outside and passing to Grix ankles.
Their first two tries were pure luck. However we did gift them three tries. Roby's dummy run for the full backs hatrick what was Mason doing at the play the ball? Percival's first was shocking and we conceeded another from a stupid penalty from Taai on the 4th tackle.
They should not have had opportunity for a drop goal though as no way to Robinson knock on. Saints players hand knocked it out and even if the ref missed this it went backwards so it should have been play on.

No bad luck in not being well ahead after 10 minutes or so, no bad luck in poor decision making, no bad luck in getting back on top in the last 6 or 7 minutes and still not being able to secure the win, where was the bad luck Jools?
