| Hulls attack?
Bet Jordan rankin is feeling pretty aggrieved- Sneyd was anonymous. Pryce did nowt with ball in hand - he put in some decent high kicks- but hull couldn't be bothered to put on the pressure.

| very easy win I thought, never in danger of been under threat....Hull were shockingly poor and it makes the 1st game seem even worse watching how bad they are.

| Hull were dire. Although they defended ok in attack they were toothless- Imagine watching that boring guff every week. They were way poorer than wakey, who at least had a go and tried something in attack.
BUT Even with 12 men for 10 minutes we a) should have nilled them b) should have put a bigger score past them.
Leeds will be smarting following their loss- and we will have to up a couple of gears at least to come close to winning.

| Oh- and it's nice to talk about the game without mentioning the ref!
It was the first time child had reffed at Leeds since "fag gate" and the YEP was less than impressed by his performance.

Yes it was nice not to have one of the 2 clowns, all the talk about poor reffing is over on the Leeds board and how poor child is. At least it's not just us who know he's rubbish.

| Thaler has impressed me before and he did fine last night, compared to the usual offerings he was good and fair for both sides i thought, nothing major to talk about, well done Ben Thaler.
as for the game, well we won comfortably, i thought the scoreline flattered Hull somewhat, we were totally in control last night and we did what i have been saying for weeks, we built pressure, how many times did we kick deep and force Shaul, Yeaman,Talanoa etc to run the ball back from near their own line?
we looked threatening in attack and composed for a change, and defensively we were sound, i think at 2/3 stages they had back to back penalties on our line and couldn't get through, there was one effort in the 2nd half on our left edge where we looked exposed, Hull had a 3 on 1 overlap and threw it wide, but within seconds, there were 3/4 giants surrounding the man with the ball, tremendous effort!
Hull looked poor but we still had to beat them and beat them easily, shame we conceded though it would have been nice to nil them....it makes that 0-19 even worse as every time i've seen Hull they look a very poor team.
good effort from the fans too, our taxi load outsung the black and whites from start to finish.
bring on the Rhinos!

| Excellent performance lastnight, the first half was the best ive seen us play in a long time, never looked like losing the game.
just goes to show what we can do when we do the basics right and cut out the errors!
mcgillvary is flying at the moment, but always seems to play well..with an in form cudjoe also inside him.

| Couldn't get to game. How did Mullally and wardle go ? Interesting to see mullally starting. Stats look good for average gain again, but not getting through a lot of work, did he get many minutes?
Sounds like a solid performance both on and off pitch

| Thought Wardle looked really good in the backrow, caused us a few problems, we were awful, but I have to give some credit to your side, really enthusiastic and your go forward and line speed was excellent. Every time you got near our line you looked like you were going to score so you were very clinical.
Very depressing being a Hull fan at the moment, I have seen worst times, but this is one of the most depressed I have been about the club, as I can see how much potential we have, but are been held back by our coaching staff.

| Every player was class last night, on Wardle it seemed pretty harsh to me he wasn't given a breather he looked knackered towards the end.

| stats are quite interesting, Hull made more metres than us,none of our forwards made more than 100 metres compared to 4 of Hull's
Hull had 3 times more offloads than we did, 15-5 and we came up with 10 errors to their 18
we had 38 missed tackles to their 32 , only cudjoe and hughes made more than 30 tackles for us.
so on the stats it was a close game but i suspect our good goal line defence and composure in attack won us the game, we couldn't say that a few weeks back.

Wardle was solid going forward made some good yards- missed a few tackles though (I obviously jinked robbo as having praised him for not missing many tackles so far this season he missed loads last night) in fact a few missed tackles last night but it was noticeable That the team worked hard to cover back.
Mullally made good yards again but didn't get much game time- Huby was sin binned just as he might have been coming off so after resting for 10 he played another stint so he did long mins. Eorl was great going forward last night too!
hull had a lot of possession on our line early on and we stood strong. Hull carried the ball more than we did and made more metres too but just looked flat.
