4 games in, 4 progressive games and getting better ....

Defence was much, much better tonight ....Cas are a good side and we stopped them playing, while looking lots more cohesive in attack.

Jerry is an absolute machine and Carney didnt fancy the battle did he ?, kept coming inside whenever he had the ball, twice Jerry owned him !!

Again, not an overly bad performance from any individual which helped the team performance...very happy with the 0 against us too.

Quote: meast "Good defensive performance still too many errors in attack and giving silly penalties away allowing them to make metres without working for them
Decent performance and very pleased with the 0 against

Wonder if jerry has let Carney out of his pocket yet
Great win for you tonight, you were far better than us. Don't know whats gone wrong since last week. Really pleased for Jerry he deserved the MOM and I thought he came over very well on boots 'n all. However Justin did show his power when he sent Crabtree into orbit. No doubt big Eorl will be getting some stick in the sheds about that.

If we'd cut out the silly passes and penalties, last night would have been an excellent performance. As it stands, it was very good.

Can't understand reports about it being a poor game. Both teams spread the ball along the line and at half time it was anyone's game.

Plus, I thought Mr Childs was in his alter ego state - he had a good game.

It was good to see the team congratulating and reassuring each other at every opportunity - maybe the kerfuffle behind the scenes that obviously hasn't happened has galvanised the team.

Quote: Danril " Ball in hand though, we still knock on far too much. Still, it is progression. '"

Aye, progression.

A lot of those mistakes with the ball wouldn't have happened in previous weeks because there was no attempt to do very much.

If you're going to make mistakes you should make them in pursuit of something, so well done to the lads last night.

Lots of moaning on various sites about the quality of the game. Sod that, I really enjoyed it - a proper arm wrestle. Good and tough, and tense until the end. One for the connoisseur.

Two unfashionable teams. If Warrington and St Helens played that exact same game the (mainly Lancashire based) whingers would be raving about the intensity and physicality.

Really scrappy first half, think we got into their half about 3 times! o to go in at half time winning was a massive plus

the big thing lastnight was our defence, awesome... worked hard for each other!

everything cas threw at us we just shut down, mcgillvary was brilliant and had carney in his pocket all night long, same on the other wing too really..they just couldnt break us down.

cas came in on a massive high after beating wigan so this win shouldnt be underestimated.
