Sorry Bilko, but how do you know Patrick wanted to leave? Where does the Agent you refer to fit in. Does he represent these Players and what is your point. Are Agents the cause of the drop in form of our Team. If so explain your point.

he was told he can go and train with the bulls. a polite way of saying go and rot with them in a relegation team.
like i said previous, credit too him for saying he would rather stay at hudds and fight for his place.
again, no wonder he went when canterbury came in.

player welfare, agreed by both clubs before the season started due to us having short turnaround

| The right result and clearly the better side tonight. A long, long way to go though!
They were anxious but it was good to see them running harder in the second half. Huby's best game so far. Mullally also good.
Jerry was, for me, clearly MoM though. Ran hard and Widnes didn't kick the ball anywhere near him second half. With good reason.
They all seemed a bit more assertive second half which was good but we need them to be like that from minute 1. Focussed, forceful. Controlled aggression and a making the right decisions. No standing around at the ruck letting them roll us. Pushing up at the 10 and getting the shouler in the tackle instead of grabbing with the arms. If you come out of the line then you HAVE to make the tackle! The game should have been virtually sewn up at HT but we only had ourselves to blame for that.
I hope they grow for the win but from the results tonight Thursday is going to be tricky!

| Better but still taking the wrong option and panicking instead of building pressure. Widnes did not offer much attacking threat though and Grix was put under little pressure on his comeback game. Thought both wingers were great and Mullally and Kopczak made a massive difference when they came on.
Was worth attending to see the price of genius from Brough to set Wardle up.
What was also pleasing was that after another less than average first stint Lunt came out in the second half and started to run at the opposition defence. Hopefully this is a sign his form and confidence are returning.

| Widnes were nothing special, but we did look good for most of the second half. Even in our very average first half we out performed Widnes, but bombed 3 guilt edged tries so went in level. We still look lacklustre in too many minutes, very similar to last season to me. Danny is awesome, if only everyone had his passion. The try he made for Wardle was pure brilliance. Jerry is as hard as nails, the new Paul Reilly maybe.

| Jerry terrific tonight, with the pace he takes it into the opposition, the defenders must get sick to the teeth of having to tackle him.

| Much better, again though lack of composure could have cost us.. Widnes should have been out of the game at half time but we kept bombing chances.
2 major factors to me last night were Danny concentrating on playing and Lunty running with the ball...they both looked dangerous when they did.
Jerry was my MOM, when he's running like that he's a joy to watch.
Huby was our best forward I thought, starting to look like the player we know he can be.
Must also say well done to Ben Thaler who I thought had a great game...1st time this season there hasn't been a huge error from a ref, easily the best we've had so far !!

| One thing that pleased me besides the form of Huby. Bruno seemed to have a less upright stance and enabled him to use his feet and make more progress than his battering ram attack.

| Good result last night Jerry was the best player on the pitch. Credit where it's due I thought Koppy had a massive game, was willing him to go 80m.
For me, the second spell for Lunt was ok, first 20 min he missed a few tackles and that pass on the break to Murph was woeful.
We need to look for further improvement against a cas side that will have all their confidence back after last night.

| Congratulations to Grix on making his 50th appearance. And, as some of you might expect, I'll go on to say how well he played - joined in attack, always up in support, playing at dummy half, organised the defence, nad caught every high ball kicked at him. [Didn't see the cock up between him & Koppy!]

| Hopefully that win will have settled some nerves
Jerry was outstanding
Koppy ran hard
Huby looked absolutely top class
Much better from brought but still way off his best
Still took us 10 mins to get up to speed and their two tries were soft
Still, shame we didn't convert more then we'd be in the 8 lol

| Finally we get a win
some big individual performances lastnight especially from Brough, what a run in the lead up to wardles try and did one similar to that in the first half
Huby howing his class now and getting his offloads going, need to be more aware of them though, only seems to be grix lastnight who was ready.
on to the next one now, roll on next thursday, we will have to improve again though as it wasnt a brilliant performance, very windy lastnight which didnt help with some of the passing
