I think we'll be OK in the prop dept, but would have been good to get him. Mullaley will be used more, he looked a handful in last few games and the pack can't be as bad as they were last season surely.

Yeah the props are fine with what we have! Huby, koppy, , mul, josh Johnson, Nathan mason and taai can come in too if required,

Out of interest, our local rag has HKR or yourselves as picking-up Gil Dudson from Wigan.

I hope not, don't rate him above mullally or johnson.

I don't think we've seen anywhere near enough of or from Johnson at Super League level to say that he is better than Dudson but I definitely think we should give him the game time so we can see how good he is before we bring someone like Dudson in. As the squad looks now, unless we can attract some real top class talent I don't think we should be spending any cash or eating into the salary cap on players at the level Dudson who I don't think can add anything to the squad except being an extra body. We should be giving the likes a Johnson a real chance instead.

Bang on, that's pretty much what I intended to write but gave up. I think we have enough depth throughout the squad this year. I just think we are lacking one more player with a touch of extra class/winning mentality.

Saying this, I'm really hopeful for Connor and Leeming this year, would be nice to see another one of our youngsters cement a regular spot.

I've heard we will be seeing a bit of Mickey Learmonth next year. Highly thought of by PA and rest of the coaching staff.

The more we see of players coming through the academy the better! If we show the youngsters that we will get them to first grade football if they perform for us not only will we attract better youngsters but be able to keep hold of them!
