what has ferres done this season?

never seems to turn up for the big games, think he is a marked my now though whereas before he wasnt.

whitehead got the better of him the other night, id swap ferres for him.

patrick? where is the mongrel in him, none at all! great when he runs fast onto the ball (though he can knock on a fair bit). also not good enough in defence, we needs a westwood type 2nd rower, id swap patrick for westwood too

not going to happen but just thoughts really and on their day they are top players but just not seen it enough.

You might be right but i wonder whether he needs that bit of a break and be coming on attacking tiring forwards rather than starting and playing against fresh players and having to make a dozen tackles on the likes of Eliiott Whitehead before he gets a chance to make a break.

For crying out loud we got to 3rd in the league and had 2 poor games - same as we do every season

Our big loss this season was Kyle Wood - he had the zip and complimented Brough superbly before his injury with Robbo spelling Lunt as needed

We haven't hadour first choice 6,7 or 9 for 80% of this season

Friday was depressing as hell but threads like this are a waste of time

FFS ..it's a bit of fun that we could do after every season ends.....just to see what individuals opinions are of players, it's not a thread slagging anyone off or having a go at the club. It's not a WHO SHOULD GO IMMEDIATELY thread just a general bit of opinion gathering !!............forget it then i'll delete the F*****g thing !

Just 2 opinions Daz, thats all it took, then it all goes to pot, l sometimes think, why l bother myself.

we have been poor all season.

forget the 3rd in the league, who cares? (i do as i spend alot of money and time watching the giants) when it comes to the big playoff time we got found out catalans finished 7th..do they care who finished 3rd?! do they even deserve to be in the semi final finishing 7th? the rfl and sky seem to think so with the setup as it is.

have we missed out chance to win something? cant see us having better chances moving forward now, as a club we had a great chance to win something these last two years, the other big clubs have been rebuilding their teams in this time...they are going to get stronger from now on in by the look of things.

so far we have huby in and faiumu out.. grix on a 2 yr deal... nothing more so cant see us improving enough to win silverware as it stands. think we have one more season of a settled squad so may have one more shot then its big changes.. for the better i hope

I would sign Patrick if i was Garry Hetherington as he is a great player IMO and would love to see him at our club as he would be a revelation

In 6 years we have won 3 play off games. In the last 4 we have won 1. At what point as a club do you turn round and think "hold on a minute"? What in any of the last 4 years has shown that this bunch of players has what it takes to win? Our only victory in play offs in the last 4 years was the 70 point pounding we gave Hull last year. This may come as a shock but you ain't gonna win many play offs like that. Every time we have been up against it we have folded.

It's alright saying we had 2 poor games but once again they were the 2 that matters. We always fail in games that matter. The club needs to sort it out and stop telling fans we have a "world class" team when clearly we have a bunch of chokers.

That's fine, I accept we haven't got a team that is good enough to progress in the play offs but please let's stop pretending that we have.

cant see it though and on his day patrick is explosive...but like the rest of the team this year not seen enough of it

i was right we didnt get westwood in exchange for patrick but maybe hughes will surprise us all and be this aggressive 2nd rower

remember lee mossop being great for us from wigan
