I thought Ta'ai was unlucky with the knock on as Watkins grabbed his foot, could have gone either way. The penalty was from fatigue though, he'd put a very good 40 mins in though.

Probably the right think to do to get him off then but he did ok as you say and those issues at play the ball can be addressed and I see no reason to punish him more by leaving him out next week especially as he was probably MOM when we played them at Barnet.

spot on regarding drop goals, i was saying for the last 20 minutes that we should be having a look at popping on over if we get any kinda chance, although we didnt need it in the end, it could have been crucial had leeds been given a penalty in the last minute

Thought Kyle Wood was superb last night and him and Brough are starting to form a good partnership with Robbo at hooker, Bailey proved again that he is becoming almost unddroppable at the moment, Eorl was back to his best and Larne gave us plenty of go forward when he was on.

we where poor last night except for 15 mins then we try and give the game back to leeds. we have played 3 of the big teams but all 3 had 7+ first team men out out leeds playing with one pivot, we lack composer and discipline again last night .if Leeds would have gone 24 , 12 up they would have adone number on us its about time we learned to do the same or we wont win anything this year. Saying all that now the time to build.

yepwe are lucky to win every game all these players out blah blah blah. What about the quality of absentees though? I would suggest that Lunt and Cudjoe are two very important players for us, every team has injuries but most just deal with them.

Also with particular reference to Leeds and Wigan, all other teams are more likely to have players suspended. The Bowen and Peacock decisions being nothing short of shameful.

As usual, I must have been watching a different game. Apart from half a dozen players each dropping the ball once and a couple of silly penalties, I thought our performance was good. Good, not outstanding, but still good. We are improving week by week [Saints apart], and heading nicely for the play-offs. At this rate we shall be in outstanding form once hte proper season starts [!].

The biggest difference was the captains, one kicked 40:20's took the high ball in the last few minutes and kicked all his goals, the other kicked straight to touch on numerous occasions, out paced by the centre and didn't kick all his goals.
