KR have a big front row pack and we need to make sure we muscle-up up front. Our second rows are more than a match having pace too. Our backs are better so we should take advantage out wide and put pressure on Eden defensively.'"
its because there is nothing to moan about jools, all going well at the Giants so the fickle fans dont come out to play

Maybe Eden has kicked on too and I guess tomorrow will show where he is at.'"
Eden was anonymous in the friendly- I didn't realise he'd played until I saw his name in the match review!

| I'd like to see Leeming given the nod before Fuey.
I think it's a perfect opportunity to play him.
Broughton to miss out also.
Looking forward to the game. Hopefully carry the good atmosphere created at Wigan into tomorrows game.
I expect us to win by 20+

| Hoping leeming will get an opportunity. I'm intrigued to see how he will get on at senior level, as he gets glowing praise at academy / junior level.
Hooker is the one position I'm a bit concerned about, as wood doesn't seem the answer to me, and I think faiumu is much better suited in the second row / loose. In Anderson we trust though.

Gosh doesn't take long does it ??
I just hope the 'you ain't a supporter if you ain't in the singing section' doesn't get going again' this year !!!
We have a fine Rugby League team according to the pundits my wish for 2014 is that everyone can support them in their own way and a few more turn up to do so starting today !!!

I thought Kyle Wood looked to have moved forward against Wigan I wasn't totally convinced with him last season against the stronger teams but he looked the part when he came on at the DW.
It's a good test without Sean Lunt today but with Robbo, Brough Wood and either Faiumu or Leeming plus Baily it shouldn't cause us a problem many sides would swap us !!!
No games are easy but with our squad one man shouldn't make to much of a difference and I expect us to win.

| Buzzing. Just on way to pick up nephew, and on the road for 11. Can't wait. Park up, cheeky ale, bite to eat, and watch the mighty giants. Revised prediction of giants by 8 to giants by 20 and my uncertainty about wood to be converted into undoubted faith after he receives MOM ![Smile icon_smile.gif](images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

| to me, wood is the back up no.9, so therefore the shirt is his to lose, same as any other position really, leeming is a good prospect, but for me he has to bide his time and wait for his chance.
saying that i wouldn't be disappointed if he was given the nod, but surely without lunt, then kyle wood should be the one to step in?

Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif Run leroy , run !.... And he did - twice - and we partied hard...:Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif |

| Wood andl lemming to play today?
Opportunity for a large time slot for wood , and lemming off the bench. Might need this combination if Lunt is injured later on in season. Fiamu would play him, but not hooking - but there just in case....

Agree about wood, last season there were games where it was obvious wood had come on for Lunt, I hadn't realised Lunt had gone off at Wigan. Lunt does tackle better they both have good distribution but Lunt is better some of woods runs from DH created us some space against strong forward packs.
I'm hoping we play a different game to the one we played in the friendly (where we were testing match fitness rather than anything) and spin the ball out wide and early, welham will be crucified again by leroy - and if we fancy a change can always give it ferres/Wardle. They have a big strong pack so best to try go tound rather than through them.

| Would like to see Kruise get another run as it would boost his development and confidence, but then again Wood also needs the game time to establish himself as Lunt's understudy, either way they are both decent replacements but then again so is Fooey !!
Our backs are far superior to their's so i agree, hit the flanks early and murder them there rather than through the middle. Easier said than done though as they aren't no mugs really.
