What a mess the whole situation is! It's sad to see a club go through times like this even though it's down to mismanagement of finances.
Can understand why players up sticks to other clubs as this situation has been going on far too long! They have family's to look after and everybody no matter who you are wants the stability that you will be paid Each month.
As for sammut, quality player and good look to him at wakey, Bradford forum say he is a big fish moved from a small pond to a smaller pond I say he has moved to a club who have had hard times but are a whole load more controlled situation, debts seem to keep popping up at Bradford not so much wakey

And there lies the problem- they keep thinking they are a big club, they were fiddling finances when they were winning stuff - the club has never been financially managed correctly- it's about time they began realising they are not the force they once were. They have a lot of inexperience on their board too.

Exactly, you can get away with it more when you are successful and bringing more money in. The problem is that Bradford's board/fans still act like they are the World Club champions and have huge crowds and the money to pay wages for players above their budget. They dont and it appears they refuse to accept that they are now a shadow of the club they were 10 years ago.....hopefully relegation will give them all a wake up call !!.

RHP claims they have the most expensive shirt in SL this year- apparently the sponsors are queuing up- begs the question why they have gone into admin again then doesn't it!

I think Wire would get that accolade but its not a Bradford problem as I guess Bond It secured our sponsorship for a fraction of what even a League 2 football club would get and comparing how much it would cost to sponsor Town and the Giants would not make happy reading.

RHP also said that they tried to sell sammut and others last year but they didn't want to go at the time and so couldn't make them! He said that he's had no problems bringing in sponsors but couldn't do it at hudds as they wouldn't give him any money to do stuff -they wanted his ideas to cost nothing to implement.
The Bradford lot are saying sammut wanted an extension but wouldn't be given one then offered one to gale- perhaps he felt his loyalty was being thrown back in his face ...

It's a bloody mess. Then again the entire board for the last 2 years have had zero experience of sports management. Maybe this potential investor who is publicly courting the fans via twitter may bring that experience....
