Well Alibert has been 14th man for Les Cats but the Giants have found some early season form - at least for the first 40 mins!

Quote: sanjunien "exactement !

it's good for the RFL to have a french SL club but FFS they mustn't actually WIN anything !

Casty, along with Duport have been excellent all season with Casty exeptional either as a starter or an impact player - I can't se many other contenders other than Tomkins,Charnley or Roby'"

Put charley in any other team and he wouldn't even get a mention, it's a joke really. MOS will be roby or tomkins

Charnley is an excellent winger, to suggest otherwise is just daft

Anyway

Back on topic

How one sided was Alibert today?
And he's forgotten how to count again!

I am suggesting otherwise, and I am far from daft. Put him in a poor team and he won't look anywhere near as good, most of his tries come from good work from the inside

Alibert was appalling especially in that last 20 minutes. I never knew you could be penalised for placing your foot in your opponents hand and causing him to trip you. Where he pulled that ball steal on the full back I don't know either. Or the obstruction.

As for us we looked more disciplined and more focused than we have for weeks. Our defence was particularly impressive, we scrambled well and got back to prevent breaks. Grix started badly but turned it around. Also liked the fact that after losing the ball for the 3rd try Murphy stepped up and took a kick on the full.

Ferres for me was MOM he put in some monster hits on the Catalan players

Chan for mine after his running in the opening 20

Mason was excellent and put some real work in as did Crabtree
Fa'alogo looked like he was interested again as well, as did Gilly
Eden played a cracker, Gerry likewise
In fact all of them put in the effort and running like we haven't seen in months.
Great to see!

Just hope Brough was taken off as a precaution

that can be said of any class player in an ordinary team

look at George Best - brilliant in the great Man U side but innefectual in the NI team with no quality or support alongside him, still a great player though

Definately the go forward was back. Even with Catalan being up very fast.

All round good performance. Shocking start from Grix but got back into it and good from Eden (I thought the obstruction penalty was harsh).

Is Luke George injured or dropped ?

To me Moore is a lazy player who is too slow at dummy half today with lee and robinson soon as a marker wasnt set they were scooting and getting us a roll on would love too see lunt back but for whatever reason they got rid but id off rather we got mcshane in a swap deal than bring moore in

He has clearly been carrying an arm injury for weeks now, the guy needed a rest
