Perhaps if I'd have had my kids at 16 and they'd have been there when we were losing every week then they would be better supporters?'"
What an example to your kids, eh. Perhaps one day you'll 'rebuke' the wrong person who has the temerity to leave earlier than you think they should and you'll be able to show them how to cop a hiding too.

| I posted a comment about this 'Loyal Supporters' chant after the crusaders game. It may be sung by folk who went to games at Fartown, but it doesn't make them any more mature than my 8 year old.
It's childish and will put people off coming again as someone will get intimidated by it.
At the end of the day, it is quite ironic that it is actually sung to people who have paid and travelled to places like wrexham and wigan. Surely, by default, they are true supporters.
Mostly, this season, the giants support has been great (comparitively speaking) partly because we have had something to be positive about. However, we also need to be able to tell the players we are not happy with what we have seen.
Would these 'loyal supporters' preferred it if people stayed behind and booed?
I really don't mind us losing to a better team, but if we don't turn up on the day and hugely under-perform I reserve the right to do the same.
That been said, I don't leave early, but don't chastise other people for doing so.

| I understood fully the reasons the Giants fans left early.
They wanted to get the first few taxi's before the players had a chance to shower.

I dont remember you being that bad pre-brough, i couldnt believe the amount of times you went for power play close to the line on the last tackle. Like you were afraid to kick.'"

| Think he means we committed fewer offences thereby Bentham penalised Wigan more.
Mr B was very good last night - towards both sides.

After Saturday, yes is the answer. It's been a double blow.As well as losing Brough's quality kicking game both short and long,it's also meant Robinson moving out of the dummy half role, and much of our attack this time has been based around Robinson in there and 2 & 3 options coming off him.A system we looked comfortable with.Robinson was moved from half back by NB because he lacked a quality kicking game, now he's back in there.
Not sure Danny would have made that much difference yest to the final outcome,it was about forward power or lack of it,LOD though a different story,he would have added a bit more steel, not to mention experience up the middle when Wigan got the roll on.
Good news for us Giants fans is that (I'm led to believe) Brough will return for the Bradford trip on July 17th.

| Wardle got found out last night he couldn't read the plays at all Bruno is a far superior defensive centre. As stated by someone else earlier too much inexperience on that side i aren't sure why Browny switched Cudjoe from McGillvary's wing because that was a very fruitful partnership. Wardle imo is not ready yet offers nothing on attack and as said there aren't many better that Lawrence defensively running round in SL. That said bad night at the office puit Brough and O' Donnell back into that side and it wouldn't have been that sort of blow out scoreline. Just as an aside when is the 'Enforcer' that is Fa'alogo ever gonna come to the party for us i haven't seen him put in a big hit for us once yet since he arrived and thats granted he's been injured for large chunks of it!!!!!

I think as a club you need to get over Fartown. At least viewed from the outside it looks like it is an issues which causes a bit of a schism and is keeping some people in the town away from the club.
As a Wigan fan who still misses CP, I know how those of you who went to Fartown must feel, believe me, but you need to get over it and stop referring to it all the time.

| Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown:
"We were well beaten in every facet of the game. We can't offer any excuse. We've been getting away with parts of our game now for six to eight weeks and today we played a very good side who are very well coached.
"We need to coach a bit better in some areas and the players need to improve in some areas. That game has been coming and sometimes it takes a result like that for all of us to put our hands up and say we aren't getting better and we need to get better."
"Wigan have got some terrific players. Sean O'Loughlin is comfortably the best British player in the game. When they dominate so easy he can control the game very well."
improve around the ruck area and our goal line defence which he keeps banging on about... we havent been improving for a while now and wigan showed that.
