the scully one wasn't too bad, it was done in a dignified manner in the off season.
The manner that saints were literally begging harris and unsettling him during the end of 96 after murphy froze him out was shocking. Making him promise after promise to sign him but never actually stumping up the $$$ |

I spoke with a very reliable source yesterday. He said Hodgson hasnt asked for a wage increase he just wanted 2 years on the same wage he is on now as opposed to one. Thewlis has alot to do with this and I believe Hodgson will be the first of many to be walking.

Just a thought here.. Do you think Thewlis and Nathan talk to each other?
Do you think they would have discussed if BH should have a 1 year or 2 year deal? Who's to say he was not offered a 2 year deal as suggested by others on this forum.
I'm sure Nathan has some input someone where down the line as to who he wants to keep or get shut of.
To suggest players are not happy and want to walk then let them go. I find it strange that players are so unhappy that they are signing contract extensions with more players still to be announced.
Yes I am ed off that we are letting BH go but one man dose not make a team.
4th in League and have the best defence and we are through to next round of CC - this certainly shows how upset the players are. |

Smith made it clear today he wanted to stay with Hudds and wanted two years if he had got that he would of stayed at Hudds. |
