As a Wakey fan I would be very disappointed with just a transfer fee, but with uncle moneybags that Is a possible scenario! For us to maintain our top position we need a deal that will bring in other players. If the very strong rumors of 80K plus Kirmond and Aspinwall are true I would be very happy with that.

It's quite possible that Wakey have been toying with the Giants every step of the way. Knowing uncle Kens incredible wealth and knowing his ability to pay we may of just held out for the deal of the century!

I imagine it will be somewhere in the middle of all the predictions.Maybe a modest cash payment to Wakefield or one player joining Wakefield from Huddersfield.

If cash changes hand,its not uncommon for both clubs to agree that the amount is undisclosed,so once again everyone can start wildly speculating.

That puts a premium on him from your side of things. If we let him go now, we lose 21 rounds of our sides linchpin when we could otherwise force him to play. The only question is what we are offered to make it worth giving up those 21 rounds of Danny Brough, and how much little extra you are prepared to add to guarantee his services. I get the impression that some Huddersfield fans are that delusional that they actually believe that we are letting him go for nothing! He his a very important player and could be the difference between a play off place or not. If you want him you'll have to pay for him it's that simple. What ever you offer it will after be an offer that is beneficial to Wakey. Ted Richardson is a very shrewd man uncle Ken won't get the better of him in that department!
