| Quote: boomer "A contract, is like a guarentee, its not worth the paper its written on
lt would all depend on how Eorl reacted to an offer.
The biggest noise l ever heard, was the sound of money
If he was motivated by money don't ya think he would have ran his contract out and looked to sign for one of the so called bigger clubs.
Eorl is Huddersfield thru and thru, I know it's hard to believe in present day but there are a few players left that actually feel proud to pull the colours of their chosen club on, Big Eorl is one of the few remaining.
Hence commiting his future to the club for the rest of his Club and International career!!!!!! so hands off others and don't waste ya time trying.

| l am not saying he! is motivated by money, but if he was offered the chance to go to Oz, and that would surely be a big opportunity, and he wanted to go, l am sure, contract or no contract, the Giants would not stand in his way, AND THEY WOULD BE FOOLS TO DO SO, but money would buy off the contract (transfer fee) and money would sweeten the move (wages), no one would make such a deal for less. At the end of the day this is a professional sport, its a players livelihood, and not a long one.
Money talks.
l hope he stays here foe ever, but as originally stated if he gets much better the Aussies will surely take an interest, l think he is better than Burgess.

Been one of the best props in SuperLeague for a few years , Fartown fans have always said that but been laughed off here, maybe a few are laughing other side of their faces now. Eorl should have been in England squad 2 seasons ago at least , but as played for Huddersfield was overlooked (not the only one by the way) still it was Englands loss at the time , just glad the big fella has finally been allowed to show people what a very good ball playing forward he is.

| Eorl Crabtree, Huddersfield to Gold Coast
Eorl 'Goldilocks' Crabtree has snubbed a lucrative switch to the NRL. Crabtee, nephew of wrestling icon Shirley 'Big Daddy' Crabtree, has been England's star forward in the Four Nations series. But he won't be following international team-mate Sam Burgess Down Under. Gold Coast Titans coach and ex-Kangaroos and Salford ace John 'Hoss' Cartwright insists Crabtree would be an even bigger success in Australia. | bit disapointed with the game last night, Eorl did not get much game time, anyone seen the stats?, when he was on he didn´t see much of the ball, did some good tackling as usual, to be fair Burgess was outstanding, and Graham seemed to play most of the game.
Glad Smith has resigned.

Burgess is 20 though and Eorls 27, think most people would take Burgess everytime due to the potential. Wasn't Eorl playing in the Northern Ford at the same age? Not a dig at all as i rate Eorl, however you have to remember Burgess has been playing SL and international rugby since he was 17 i think.

Crabtree would have been if he was playing for a different club.

| Eorl's quality and I'm glad we've got him but Burgess has the potential to be really special.

Talking of big hits, my kids were playing Rugby League world cup edition on the PS2 yesterday, they unlocked the big hits video so i watched it. In one of the clips Fa'alogo comes out of the line full bet and absolutely smashes someone (legally). The guy looks a reet beast!!!! Can't wait to see him in our colours next season.

| I was surprised on saturday night when Eorl came off the bench and stood on the touchline waiting to get on and the whole stand just lifted and were shouting come on Eorl and stuff !! - i had to have a little chuckle to myaelf though thinking back 3 or 4 weeks and some of the comments posted when Eorl was picked, amazing how actually seeing him play changed people's opinion of him !

| Crabtree did not get much ball at all to run with, was just used for tackling.
Burgess guilty of greed when we could have gone 12-0 up. He had a great game but could have cost us as the Aussies don`t like getting far behind, they panic.
