I don't think so. I think it was a team who didn't play well enough on the day and/or were outplayed on the day, depending on your perspective. But they got there fair and square and so deserved to be there.

| outside the so called big teams of super league, you are the club that has made fantastic progress to challenge those clubs, you have a great stadium, a very good coach and an up and coming team that with a few additions here and there will be up there for sometime to come. once your fans and the town gets used to the fact that you are worth watching then perhaps they will all go to wembley again with a bit more passion than seemed to be there yesterday, it's as if you had conceded defeat before the game even started,in a strange way it was as though you didn't think you should be there. but at the end of the day you got there on merit and will do so again if you continue to progress the way you have. you should be proud of where your club as come in the last few seasons.

Well said! We are a good team and we have every chance of building on this. I'm looking at the positives of yesterday in that it's all experience and you can't appreciate the success without having tasted the failure and 'm sure the clebrations this weekend in Warrington will be proof of that.

| Our time will come - and we still have the play-offs to look forward to, we shouldnt be too down about losing the cup final we should try and see it as a positive as its another sign of how far this club has come and were not finished yet !

| I thought you played some fantastic rugby at times but Warrington samshed you up with Carvell and Morley. Brett Hodgson was outstanding and Davids try was a gem. Dont be too down hearted Id die to see Swinton in a final and to think that Salford are in the same league as you when you truly are a different class.

Good point that....for me both Mason and Griffin was very poor and Hudds pack never got going at all.......think they need to look at some more props and possibly a scrum half....Robinson went missing and is easy to read.

| exactly why robbo is to be replaced as scrum half next year and move into hooking role, dont agree about props, griff and mason had poor games yesterday but over the season they have been top drawer, maybe one new prop is required but from where who knows

Have a word. Our props have been superb for us this season and are a massive reason we are so high up the league and made a cup final. We had an off day yesterday and Warrington were on top throughout. Teams would kill for forwards like ours. Mason has been a revelation for us this year and Crabtree is having one of his best season's yet.

Just the way it looked to me mate.....not taking anything away from you at all but Morley and the turncoat and the Andersons totally dominated your pack and the game was lost there for you.....teams need a big pack and just thought yours was easily dominated and your pack isnt small either.

| I wonder if the defeat still hurts tonight, just as much as it did last night?

I don't think it was the Wire pack which was the problem for Hudds. Apart from them getting a bit of stage fright, what undermined them was that Wire played wide. That split the defence which is normally so effective. Play up the middle and Hudds will win; play out wide and the opposition will win. Unless Brown adapts Hudds' play a bit more to counter the fact that coaches have probably got the measure of Hudds now.

I think the "not good enough to be at wembley comment" was in response to who J.I.M supports though

Yes it is a different kettle of fish, its the final and not the semi!
Yes we have failed twice but at least we have made the final twice in 3 years which proves we have got some bottle somewhere, we are just not used to the "big" occasions but the more "big" occasions we are in the better we will become.'"
I am sorry but Warrington are certainly NOT used to the "big" occasions, but they managed to play a fantastic final anyways
