These are what i've heard/been told - only 2 are definite.

What ive heard, not sure how true this is though......

Rapira is definitely going like Daz said - think we need 2 new props next year if so.

Heard Taai has signed (no idea how long for though) and that he won't count on the quotas next year as he will be applying for a dual passport at the end of this year which is his 5th year.

Ive heard Broughy won't be here next year and that he will take up a 3 year deal somewhere else. (Again, we have heard this every year)

Weve enquired about signing Trent Hodgkinson (Who may not count on the quotas as he can apply for a British passport as his father is English)

Not heard anything regarding Rankin yet, but id hope we can get a deal sorted for him as he is quality cover for FB and may go well in the halves.

We've tried offloading Smith but no clubs interested so far, like Daz says he may go on a season loan like Ellis has done next year - won't play for us again.

Not heard anything regarding Ormsby but its fairly obvious he won't be here next season.

Ive also heard Tom Symonds future is still in the balance and were waiting to see how he recovers over next couple of months, he make take a coaching role (as hes really well respected by all at the club) with us or return home. If he decides not to play again - I don't think 2nd row is a position we need to strengthen, id use the money elsewhere.

We have potential to still have 2 quota spots available.

Id say 1 prop is a must, hopefully 2 we bring in.

I just hope we find some way to avoid such an horrific injury list next season!

All seems to make sense. I think k the option if Dan Smith on Loan is a good one, he's on a long contract and has potential and is still young. If we send him somewhere like Leigh for a year who no doubt need forwards, he may well prove to be the player we were told he was when he signed.

Saw Symonds mic'd up in the dugout on Friday, looks like a position in the backroom may be an option, and probably a good one!

It would be nice to have the halves situation sorted, I think Gaskell could end up there long term, it will also be interesting to see if young Farrell develops as we all hope.
