| Best one for me was a Wally Gibson effort at Fartown in the 1990/91 season ? not sure who the opponents were but he picked the ball up from a long kick downfield, ran out wide, beat a couple of men, came infield, chipped the ball over the defence, ran round the full back, re-gathered and raced under the sticks !!
other favourites were :
Brimmah's try at Keighley
Steve Booth where he chipped over twice and caught them both before going under the sticks.
Ian Thomas v Fax in the 95 cup win
and Leroy's v Wire last year !
plus countless Wally, Deano, Stanley and Dancer tries from year gone by!

Snap, I was going to say the Wally tries when he would chip the full back or defensive line. They were class. Also Thomas in the cup was one of those hairs on the back of your neck times, like Cudjoe against Wire and Stan against Leigh. Kebbie's at Keighley was something special, but I do think Bruno's against Saints the other week was right up there. I used to love Flanagan's runs from around the back of the scrum tries too.

my Bro said Whitehaven which is who i actually thought it was at 1st ! he said you would know but ....your wrong :
Trafford B (h) L 12-28 Ticon_razz.gifarr Gicon_biggrin.gifick (4) Att: 1,795
Whitehaven (h) W 52-18 T:Thomas (4) Gibson (3) Cocker McTigue Gicon_biggrin.gifick (7) Gibson (1) att:1,021

| Anyone remember Brad Drew's run against Wigan at home on sky in 2005? I still remember his little stumps going and running as hard as he can bless him!
I also really liked Stuart Donlan's first against Leeds in the CC Semi Final in 2006, he just didn't give up and pounced when Marcus Bai was just letting the ball go dead, shows what happens when you play 100% all the time and keep your eye on the ball

Without a doubt.
As for Deano, I remember one of his in he 95 cup win over Fax, in their 20, he scorched round the outside to put the ball down in the corner, made more memorable for me cos I'd got in late and was sat right in that corner surrounded by Fax fans being very glum.
Anyone who watched our own King Wally play will know full well those chip and catch tries he scored.

i was going to say that! not only that but he did it with only 1 leg, the other was hanging off only held together with bandages
others i remember were
stanleys solo effort at widnes in 2004,its on a well known website
brad drew v wigan 2005
i also remember a joe naidole try v london at leeds road in 93/94? where he went the length of the pitch followed by the customary somersault over the line.

| All of them good tries posted above and seen most of 'em but a fav of mine was Chris Thorman (come on, give the guy a break). He kicked off from a restart on the line, gathered the ball himself and jinked through the opposition to score under the posts. If Laurie Daley had done that people would still be talking about it today.

| brad drew v wigan i thought that was brilliant individual effort. there was also a try away at warrington maybe 2006 we lost in a high scoring game think it was on sky. i remember was on abit of a comeback and we scored a long range try where we was in our own half and we passed the ball out from the right to left including some offloads then we broke down the left and cut back inside and we ended up in near the sticks was a brilliant try just cant fully remember it
