| Quote: HuddsRL5 "Great team performance last night, our attitude was right, we ran lines off the ball and defended our line. One of the rare great games of the season for us, hopefully we can build a bit of momentum towards the middle 8s now.'"
Hopefully your missing fans turn up for the next few games for you guys. Been to Huddersfield a lot in the last 8 or 9 years, and that is probably the worst home crowd from you guys I have seen. Well played last night, better intensity and better with the ball. Connor looked good at Full Back which will now create a dilemma for Hull on where to play him as we wont move Shaul - good dilemma to have.
Good luck for the rest of the season!

| Shame we have wasted a season before getting the team selection right.I know he came to play 9,but Hinchy is a natural 13,thought his workrate was outstanding.
Surprised when I saw Jake at FB but that was his original position, also outstanding, including the kicking game.Might be one that got away, but if they want a new challenge not a lot you can do.
Forwards had a dig.First contact and control of ruck probably the best they've come up with during this campaign.
Thumbs up to Andy Kelly for his contribution.

| Great effort from everybody, and barring injuries the team for next week has picked it's self. Big game from Conner.

| This is what happens when you play the players in the correct positions. Hinchy is a different player at 13 runs some cracking lines and always does the hard stuff in defense so hats off to him. Brierley was a little quiet but he backed up well as he always does so fair play to him. Sam Wood was outstanding in defense considering the size of some of there lads, obviously wasn't used much in attack but credit to the young lad for his performance. Jake Connor has been wasted in my opinion playing at centre hes a ball player for me and his ability to read the game suits him at fullback swept up well and organised the defensive line perfectly. Hope upon hope we can somehow keep hold of him. Shout out to the rest of the boys who really ripped in last night and played with passion and pride and as a fan thats what you like to see, lets back it up now and get another away win next week and get a roll on before the middle 8s start.

| well done the giants, showed that when we believe in our style of play (kick long, tackle and pin oppo down in their half and complete sets) that we can beat anybody!
lets hope its not a false dawn like on other occasions this season
twice we have beaten top of the league teams now, warrington previously in same kind of weather too.
really enjoying watching wood at hooker, he is very quick and causing havoc...players back him up please! also hinchcliffe in the loose forward role runs some great lines..again hope others can get on the same sheet as him..
roberts get better and better, cudjoe is our player of the season and connor was man of the match...dont mind if he plays like that even though he will be leaving

| With Brough not playing more went through Ellis and he was very good. I thought the team played as a team and although I'm a big admirer (and was sad to see him leave Wakey) of Brough feel that you should possibly keep the team that played tonight. Do you think Brough should walk back onto the team?

Ellis is our best pivot imo, Brough has the kicking game, outstanding edge defence and total commitment.
All I can say is our club are going to have to make some tough decisions regarding the more senior players going forward.

Garry S. you mean I quite like Garry,he is nowt if not controversial, remember that season, was it last year when StH won their first 5 games or summat and Schoey tipped them to go unbeaten through the season, then they only went and lost the next 3 was it? after that.
Ellis & Brough both like their hands on the ball first pass from the ruck.Is this town not big enough for the both of them now?

| Ellis is always excellent when he can take control and Brough just adds his quality finishes
Same as when Robbo would lead the giants upfield and let Brough apply the killer finishing - that won us the LLS

That is an exciting prospect there for the Giants.'"
Young lad,can be a bit inconsistent just now,but I agree with your call, and the more experienced he becomes, well the sky could be the limit for him.
We seem to keep nicking these talented amateurs from the grasp of the big clubs, not sure how we do it,but long may it continue

| Well done on the win, which was well deserved. You only needed to perform like this for 3 or 4 more matches and you'd have been in the super eights. Very impressed with Connor and its looks like smart business on our part. Good luck for the rest of the season and make sure you're still in Superleague next year.

Cheers,we might yet make the super 8's with a lot of luck.
Connor was outstanding, not too many players I have regretted leaving,Darrell Griffin,Ant Mullally etc. but maybe Jake.
Sorry to say this, but with your current halves I don't think you will beat Wigan in the semi.Good luck all the same though Yorkshire and all that.
