I'm not sure we deserved the two points- awful line speed, lost the ruck time and again, awful fullback play, awful kicking game, awful ball handling.

Nice to see we did it tough when the chance for points was there. Let's face it we are a very ordinary team and when the other team play badly we have to capilitise, they did that today. Last time we played catalan they were equally dire and we failed to capitilise. This kind of win is the only kind this years team are going to get.

Good job Thaler was on the ball today, not only with reversing the refs bad calls on the two no tries, but also with the call for a Catalan goal line drop out, and then over ruling a head and feed scrum when the ball clearly came off a Cats player and hit Sam Rapira

We deserved the 2 points cos we scored more points than Catalans. We were less poor than them in the end.

And as for awful full-back play, c'mon, you don't really believe that do you? By recent standards, yes, he was mediocre in a poor team performance but he wasn't awful.

I arent party to the inside dealingsat the club but whilst accepting that injuries have wrecked the continuity of a team with no depth to cover them I then look at who have gone -whatever the reasons
In my view weve released /lost / whatever ? players who were on show at Magic who could make a squad to perform better than we are doing and that IS worrying (in my opinion I stress)

but we got the two points in the end which is what matters, was an important win too as it keeps out super 8's hopes alive.

certainly looked lacklustre and disjointed did the attack but that can be understandable with a new half back pairing again and ridyard only been at the club a week.

enjoyed the day out but winning certainly helps!

Yep, he played a blinder and yes he is 100% dependable
But he is not a centre, his defence was excellent (against a poor attack let's be honest) but his own attack wasn't great either

As I say, Murphy is almost 100% dependable but he won't ever win us a game & if Ridyard performs well on Brough return there's no place in the side for Murphy
