| Good deal for both parties IMO. Both players strike me as lads who are ready for a move to get their careers moving in the right direction again.
Hughes could be a very good player IMO but it wasn't happening for him at Wigan. His progression had halted and his game was littered with errors. He struck me as a lad that needed taking out of his comfort zone and I think this move will do that.
He'll have a big year for you IMO.

if he can come anywhere near to what wild was like for us then he will be brilliant!

| no sorry im not having it that this deal is good for us it just isn't ,unless sunny bill is on his way to huddersfield and we needed to save cash for him, but i very much doubt it, i think wer all being fed a load of tripe ,at the min we are a nearly, but not quite team, that just needs an added edge to get us there, and this rubbish is not it, and dont take the s,b,w literally but you get my meaning.

| Yeah I remember people being underwhelmed by the signings of brown, wild and robbo
And letting kirmond go, and letting other players go who were deemed brilliant at the time but now forgotten

Not sure I'd class Huddersfield as good enough to be nearly men. Warrington take that title having narrowly missed out in the SL final this year, losing the two before that as well as narrowly missing out on the '13 CC final. Saints just shook off the tag with their fluke this year. Don't mean to have a go by the way, never an easy team to come up against in the regular season, but it would take more than a small improvement to see you realistically challenging for honours come the business end of the season. Play offs should a good target to aim for with Leeds potentially finally starting to decline and Cas having lost some of their best players

| Do players on loan not free up salary cap? I thought if they went then it comes off yours. So potential new signing?
we need to have faith. Thewlis brought in ferres and wardle who people questioned and have been great for us. Plus he has managed to keep Brough.
Keep the faith and be glad we have at least signed a promising English lad.
