To be honest that just goes to show how far out of touch supporters are these days.
Do you think the players give two hoots what other teams players think let alone the fans or keyboard warriors of other sides. Of course they do not, most of the side have never been within touching distance of winning anything and will want to win for themselves their team mates and their fans.
I fear the MOS might not be the real deal as I can see a lot of dislike for Tomkins and some for Danny and as with Chase 2 years back it might be someone out of left field, I hope I am wrong but players do not seem to take their vote as seriously as footballers do for PFA player of the year and I would wait until the results are released before trumpeting it as a reflection of Giants standings with other teams.
Probably just as well Wakey have fallen out of contention for the play offs as Danny Kirmond could have been a real option for top 4 players who refuse to vote for players from another top 4 team.

At the time we won it it was regarded as a great honour, I remember our playoff opponents bringing a sign saying WELL DONE WIRE.
The league started getting devalued when we lost to Leeds in the next game, and they won from 5th.

Ha ha ha. Stop it please, my sides are hurting. It was important when you won it two years ago, but now it doesn't count because we might win it. Was it you we could hear booing last Thursday as your fans realised the top spot, that's not important, was slipping away?
And you won't be getting another flag that's for sure. Your ground staff have made sure of that.

| hard not to bite! we are fans....the idea that any of my team/coaching staff/fans would or expect teams to lose games or not put in the effort would kill me! we pay to watch our players play to 100% of thier abililty would leave me with a sour taste if our boys were not going out there to do anything other than win!
Form can not be turned on and off...ask wigan 2 wins in 7?? cant tell me thats the form a team want to hit the play offs with!

| The 4th placed team in SL has only won 1 out of 8 play-off fixtures under this current structure, therefore evidence suggests that finishing 4th is very much the poisoned chalice. But has there ever been a better time to finish 4th? Warrington, Wigan and Leeds appear keen to do so.

| Don't worry I'm just having a bit of fun with you fellas.
I'm impressed with Hudds this season and think you're great value for finishing top. I thought that Hudds might slip backwards once Nathan Brown left but Paul Anderson has come in and done a great job, for a British coach to come top in his first season is a great achievement. You set your markers down after the first game and have carried on in that vein so if Wire don't win SL I will be supporting Hudds.
In all seriousness considering where Hudds were just over a decade ago (permanently stuck at the bottom with little confidence) to have achieved the progress they have done is a huge achievement, not sure I can think of a similar example in other sports, apart from where huge money has come in like Man City. Hudds are a great example for the rest of the SL clubs.

Swansea City.....30 minutes away from relegation to the Conference and in 10 years League Cup winners and a Premiership Side. Worcester Rugby Union Club are another come from nowhere to be at the top level example though as yet they have not won silverware.
