Haven't had chance to follow this story that closely yet,but is this the sum of cash needed short term to ensure they can start next season?
Surely the RFL must step in and help like they did with Bradford.
Still in the final shake up Salford need someone to take over the club long term. They are trying to get investors interested before the last resort of administration it would seem.
This throws up a lot of questions about the franchising carry on.Were the clubs forced to move too fast to get into new stadia and all concerned just banking on more speccies automatically coming through the turnstiles.Suppose it's the job of the governing body (RFL) to try and drive up standards, but in this case has it backfired badly.
Salford struggled on at the Willows for long enough, but kept going.
Good stadium is that new one,not sure why more locals don't want to get behind that club.Salford area though it's seems has less appetite for RL than Huddersfield and we struggle compared to others.
The greatest kick in the teeth for RL will be if in the only long term beneficiary will be the Sale rugby union.

not too sure either, just know the council have withdrawn the offer of 750k so they are now short with the season soon to start
i think salfords new stadium is in a poor location, just seems to be out in the middle of knowhere!

And are you willing to cough up the £350,000-£750,000 this would cost?

| Rhinos just park up a van on ring road week before home matches, can't see this costing £350,000. All we need are 2 box vans and big posters sticking on sides advertising next game coming up, one on Leeds Road and one Mirfield/Dewsbury way?
Be a damn sight cheaper parking the van up than running the bloody thing with current petrol prices!!! ;-0)

| Huddersfield Town had a tow-able advertising trailer, they plonked the trailer on Wakefield Road at Aspley (that I saw) for a few weeks at the beginning of their season.
My mate Phil came up with a good suggestion, put some sort of offer on if poss for the opening home double header Broncos & Warriors i.e. come to Broncs game and get some sort of a reduction on the Wigan game.

| Didn't we used to have these trailer board thingies before? On Leeds road and up at ainley top or outlane roundabout- perhaps the club decided they weren't worth it.

that will be changing slightly, keep an eye out in the pack horse centre. Wont be much, but will be something extra

| Who goes in the packhorse centre? The shops in there are cut price bottom end shops ( like most of the rest of the town centre) - not going to be full of people with money to spare. Kingsgate would be better- or the supermarkets would target the right people I think.

| A thoroughfare to where- there is little at the other side of town. The only time I go in the packhorse centre is to get foreign currency
