Can see Hull being the one, they have a glut of players they need to replace in the forwards, Mellor would be a good fit

think his support play in a regularly disjointed team selection, and his defence work rate and return have made him one of the highlights of the season so far .
Get the impression he HAS worked hard on improving his game so perhaps feels THAT deserves some reward Will be sorry to see him go as this attitude plus natural ability could take him much further in the game
But his agent needs to be realistic about his 'worth' and sadly maybe they have overstepped the threshold of what hes worth to us in SW`s plans
Will feel a bit ***** though if he reaches the top elsewhere !!
Then again thought Larne would achieve more than he did but players develop (or don`t) in different ways due to numerous factors not just the players alongside them - thats sport!!
Coaches and hard work can only do so much without the natural ability X factor and personally think Mellor has that to take him further in the game .Good luck to him!!

thewlis made him an offer and mellor and agent thought it was too low so we went and gave a better offer which again obviously not what they wanted to went out to see if any others offers and there were plenty and likely more money!!

suppose if the club dont think mellor is worth what he thinks he is then we cant go breaking the bank to keep him... we did get the jake connor one wrong though in hindsight! time will tell

Joking aside he has matured into a very good SL back rower with regular game time. He needs to take a leaf from other young players who are playing regularly and go to other teams such as Saints and end up here there and everywhere on dual reg.

His best bet from a playing point of view is to stay with yourselves for me

To be fair in the last two years he's made 42 appearances. that's a good few games missed. Although agreed perhaps on being the least injury prone foreign import. But that's a low bar.
