Playing Friday- Monday, 3 games in 8 days with an injury hit squad in the hope we catch saints out, or playing on 19th June after a trip to cats, before a game against Wigan but with recovery in between and perhaps bodies back.
I reckon stone would prefer the latter.

l will miss this game now, l flew over to watch majic and the Saints , Wolves matches, will we get a refund? l will certainly try.
l,m really getting fed up with this, thats 2 games i,ve missed this season due to moving dates. and it will surely not get better.
the RFL, FL, Sky , and the Giants themselves, give scant regard to Giants fans. When the Giants went to the Cup Final did Town re-arrage their game, no way. if they have a cup game in future that falls on our home weekend , we will get another date change.

What have Town to do with Giants cup final? If they want reduced gate because Giants are in final, good look to them. That's the only reason we moved game - reduced attendance.

I reckon the fact it was an excuse to not play 3 games in 8 days rather than a worry about gates tbh. We get very few "walk ups" attending so the cash is mostly in the bag from ticket sales.

It could be that neither club wanted the game only 3 days after their previous. But it's not because of a possible reduced attendance it was moved because the staff needed to open the ground would be going to Wembley many being used to steward buses. Giants have limited funds as it is and the cover staff would be an outside contractor who already charge double what the stadium staff cost never mind it being a bank holiday therefore time and half is charged something the stadium doesn't pay its staff so it'd be too costly. Had it not been a bank holiday the game would've been played.

Oh dear you criticise someone who flies from Portugal regularly to watch the Giants because he is ed off that when games get changed at short notice he misses them.

The reality is that it is bad enough when sky change things but now we are at the beck and call of both the Giants decision making and the vagaries of football.

The club need to face up to this and do something more flexible on ticketing and accept that alienating long term fans is not the best business model for the future.
