| taai is also pretty good in defence - but offers a little more go forward - it just depends whether PA wants to batten down the hatches early on and wear Hull down or go to get out in front.
interestingly when I checked the defensive stats for this year robbo is doing great!!! Hes done 10 more tackles than Eorl and only missed 8 tackles to eorls 16 all season so far!!!!
Ive not used Eorl to get at Eorl - Ive used him cause hes a good defender!!!

| Quote brearley84="brearley84"Cox has picked up a Virus... prob low immune system after we've been flogging him in training so much to get fit!
from the 19 i think we will line up
Grix
Mcgillvary
Cudjoe
Connor
Murphy
Robinson
Brough
Wood
Huby
Crabtree
Hughes
Taai
Wardle
Kopczak
Mullally
Lawrence
Ellis
Broughton and johnson to drop out'"
If Jordan has a low immune system it is probably due to the life threatening injury he received in 2012.

I'd say this is more than likely!

| A solid, workmanlike performance in which we were rarely troubled by Hull's attack.
Top marks for team spirit, effort and determination not to be beaten.
More of the same, please.

| Hulls attack?
Bet Jordan rankin is feeling pretty aggrieved- Sneyd was anonymous. Pryce did nowt with ball in hand - he put in some decent high kicks- but hull couldn't be bothered to put on the pressure.

| very easy win I thought, never in danger of been under threat....Hull were shockingly poor and it makes the 1st game seem even worse watching how bad they are.

| Hull were dire. Although they defended ok in attack they were toothless- Imagine watching that boring guff every week. They were way poorer than wakey, who at least had a go and tried something in attack.
BUT Even with 12 men for 10 minutes we a) should have nilled them b) should have put a bigger score past them.
Leeds will be smarting following their loss- and we will have to up a couple of gears at least to come close to winning.

| Oh- and it's nice to talk about the game without mentioning the ref!
It was the first time child had reffed at Leeds since "fag gate" and the YEP was less than impressed by his performance.

Yes it was nice not to have one of the 2 clowns, all the talk about poor reffing is over on the Leeds board and how poor child is. At least it's not just us who know he's rubbish.

| Thaler has impressed me before and he did fine last night, compared to the usual offerings he was good and fair for both sides i thought, nothing major to talk about, well done Ben Thaler.
as for the game, well we won comfortably, i thought the scoreline flattered Hull somewhat, we were totally in control last night and we did what i have been saying for weeks, we built pressure, how many times did we kick deep and force Shaul, Yeaman,Talanoa etc to run the ball back from near their own line?
we looked threatening in attack and composed for a change, and defensively we were sound, i think at 2/3 stages they had back to back penalties on our line and couldn't get through, there was one effort in the 2nd half on our left edge where we looked exposed, Hull had a 3 on 1 overlap and threw it wide, but within seconds, there were 3/4 giants surrounding the man with the ball, tremendous effort!
Hull looked poor but we still had to beat them and beat them easily, shame we conceded though it would have been nice to nil them....it makes that 0-19 even worse as every time i've seen Hull they look a very poor team.
good effort from the fans too, our taxi load outsung the black and whites from start to finish.
bring on the Rhinos!
