Koppy (I know a lot of people won't agree but I have failed to see anything amazing from him iin his two years with us)
Robbo (love the guy and he tries his knockers off but he just isn't good enough anymore)
Lunt (he is a top top class player but I just don't think is heart is at the Giants and it is effecting his performance, very angry to see him laughing at the end of the Catalan game)
Kafusi (don't think he is worth carrying just to wait for the 5 mins a game where he decides to tackle harder)
Grix (I don't think we will ever be a top side with his at FB)
Would also like to say Broughton as well so if it was 6 that would be it

I won't say who I'd see go because I'm 100% committed to support any player who wears a Giants shirt.

He's lost his pace, can't read the game, constantly gives hospital passes and runs around like a headless chicken.

True he gives 100% but his 100% isn't good enough. The club should've let him go 2 years ago. The fact they didn't is part of the problem we have. Sentimentality overruling sense. Literally the only reason to keep him is "he tries hard" and "He's a decent bloke". Neither of those sentiments has a place in professional sport.

One of the few things NB got right was moving robbo to 9. A fresh robbo running from DH kills the opposition. Perhaps with Ellis coming the plan is to move robbo back there. Whether his body could take the midfield battering is another issue!

But if he was spelling for a first choice hooker and playing 20 to 25 minutes it has to be better than playing 80 and been targeted all game.

Still think he can do a job for us but it is getting to the stage when we are starting to need some younger legs.

Broughy is getting no younger and he needs someone to do the running whilst he takes over the organising.

He needs to start watching how Briers played for the last three seasons.

That is why i would also look for a new Captain.

I don't think he even has the pace anymore. When was the last time he genuinely made a break? How many times does he set off into a gap and 4 years ago he would have shot through the line and now he just gets caught?

It's a shame because he has been a very good player for us in the past but think back to the CCup semi against Saints when he split them open. I genuinely can't remember an instant in the last two seasons when he has made a break like that.

what has ferres done this season?

never seems to turn up for the big games, think he is a marked my now though whereas before he wasnt.

whitehead got the better of him the other night, id swap ferres for him.

patrick? where is the mongrel in him, none at all! great when he runs fast onto the ball (though he can knock on a fair bit). also not good enough in defence, we needs a westwood type 2nd rower, id swap patrick for westwood too



not going to happen but just thoughts really and on their day they are top players but just not seen it enough.

You might be right but i wonder whether he needs that bit of a break and be coming on attacking tiring forwards rather than starting and playing against fresh players and having to make a dozen tackles on the likes of Eliiott Whitehead before he gets a chance to make a break.

For crying out loud we got to 3rd in the league and had 2 poor games - same as we do every season

Our big loss this season was Kyle Wood - he had the zip and complimented Brough superbly before his injury with Robbo spelling Lunt as needed

We haven't hadour first choice 6,7 or 9 for 80% of this season

Friday was depressing as hell but threads like this are a waste of time

FFS ..it's a bit of fun that we could do after every season ends.....just to see what individuals opinions are of players, it's not a thread slagging anyone off or having a go at the club. It's not a WHO SHOULD GO IMMEDIATELY thread just a general bit of opinion gathering !!............forget it then i'll delete the F*****g thing !
