As my 15 year old daughter would say 'OMG' their's winning and then their's WINNING I don't think I've seen Fartown/Giants play like that against St. Helens ever. Even betters when we beat them in the Challenge Cup Semi final, fantastic.

Not just the forward power though was it,it was also the way the ball was then so slickly and rapidly shifted to the edges through many pairs of hands.Thought we had a chance going there with our new forward power,even though many,including experts, had written us off, but was expecting a much closer score as we know NB's strength normally is getting the defence right.

Seemed as though Saints had calculated before kick off their best chance was to try and offload from anywhere on the paddock.A risky strategy.

Amazing to see their pack men getting ragged about like that in contact.

Plus it was the old NB tactic when in oppositions red zone of building pressure/repeats through the use of grubbers.

Great performance, really really pleased the way we went about our business, there are areas we need to improve on, but not many.

It's still early days and 2 points in the bag, we have to do the same things we did next week against a Broncos team that was starting to play like a competing team the back end of last season.

I'd disagree, there are a LOT of areas we can an improve on - and thats absolutely key

Last season in our first few weeks we were pretty immaculate at this time, and so had no room to improve
Now we are good but can get better.

Much more satisfying position imo.

and that was against a team who are as big a side size wise we wil come up against this year...going to steam roll some teams this year!
