No I don't think so tbh - Town don't do any promoting either. We do have a Uni rugby league team now though - perhaps try and get them involved somehow...I think that the only way the Uni is involved with the Giants now is in the area of recovery massage etc and not now being a main partner/sponsor any impetus/interest from that source has sadly been lost..

Nathan has stated that he plans to play Gaskell next year, unfortunatly for the lad its not in the halves or outside backs, he's being lined up to fill as starting prop!

How Gaskell fits into NB's Saints plans is bemusing with how well they went last season with the diamond formation of lance, jonny, wellens and roby

maybe wants him as cover... for hohaia and lomax

Brown wont be at Saints by Easter, at which time we might be able to pick Gaskell up on loan...

They'll be top of the league at Easter, then Brown will do a will I won't I leave and their season will fizzle out.

Of the two scenareos think this is by far the most likely.

Surely after flattering to deceive with Huddersfield, Brown will have to win a trophy with Saints before he would have any chance of getting a head coaches job back in the NRL.

Whether he will be able to do that remains to be seen, but he has got to overcome his poor record first time around in the NRL, which I am sure could be put down to his youth and lack of coaching experience, provided he can back it up with delivering something over here. I doubt whether what he has achieved so far would get him across the line.

dont know if this is right but heard a rumour mason may no longer be with the club anybody heard anything if thats the case koppy is a must sign, not sure if keith has been given his p45 hope not and the rumour is wrong.

rumour about mason leaving has been rife for months...

and the way he performed last season would it really be a big loss?
