| Same as whats happened toour team, our squad and our club as a whole, nobody on the outside knows!
Top post rod,and totally agree with everything,i think its time ken came out and told us whats going on,we have/had a talented group of players who worked hard for each other on the field, and replaced by gutless carthorses who show zero effort sometimes, why has that happened?

| I'll repeat my post from another thread:
Robbo said last night that, as a group of people, they are happy and friends.
As a group of players they are as frustrated as everyone else.
He repeatedly said that no-one could put their finger on what is wrong. He was adamant that it is mental, it's in their heads, for whatever reason.
He asked "Don't you think that if we knew what was wrong, we'd put it right? Do you think we like losing? Do yo think we're doing it on purpose?".
In addition, he said that everyone thought Baloo was a great coach and they all respected him totally.
He wasn't talking the party line, he was talking from the heart.
He also said that, whilst he is a realist, they still DO have a chance of the Grand Final, albeit a small one. As someone said, "Whilst you're in it, you've a chance of winning it".

Good to see the investment in the sports psychologist is paying dividends!

| I'll put this in for what it's worth.
Before the game when all those rumours re: Larne spitting the dummy and walking out crap, first surfaced, his agent was asked if it was true. His reply was 'That's news to me'
When further questions were asked, he replied that NB had created a load of trouble before his departure and the club were in the process of sorting it.
It would appear this is proving more difficult than originally envisaged.
Give it time.

| Yeah
The problem is bloody obvious
Brown should never have been given a chance to muck us about. Thewlis is supposedly super stubborn when talking with player contracts yet he let Brown stay/leave/stay/leave/go to Saints.
He should have been given the boot first time round end of story.

| But brown has been gone weeks now so surely the problems should have sorted themselves out and we should be seeing a rejuvenated squad of players, to me it seems the mood is exactly the same with or without nathan?

more than likely Ken Davy makes decisions about head coach contracts. Just like McManus at saints, Lenegan at Wigan. If NB was around then KD wanted it.

You don't have a dog and bark yourself.
If you didn't know Ken is a pretty busy bloke through the week...

then you'd lose your bet.
I will defer to you about barking.....back to the way a club is run
Strange you think a gifted businessman who loves the club would be so indifferent to what is the single biggest decision the club makes.
Furthermore i have been told KD :
- has regular board meetings
- calls into RTs office / lunches with RT at least a few times a week - try asking Giants staff.
- is updated regularly via phone etc
- is at all Giants games with RT
- signs the cheques
The idea that RT sneaks another year for NB past the board of directors and in particular ken Davy is laughable.

Anderson took over after the worst string of loses since before we were relegated. This problem was accentuated by the Kevin Brown saga. Add to this the depletion of out and out props by NB (something we all expect PA to correct) it may not be something that can be turned around in a few weeks.
I will judge PA 9-13 games into 2013 not now.

| Rather like the sorcerer's apprentice. PA has only got the same ideas he has picked up from NB. That's why it is always best to recruit from outside. someone with fresh ideas and not too close to the players. Good cop cannot suddenly become bad cop.
