Giants were brilliant the first 30mins, game plan was spot on then two forward passes for walk in tries...which would of won the game...changed the game in favour of hull kr who went on to score two tries before half time.

from then on it was all hull kr who had big forwards who gave great go forward.

Kevin brown went off injured in the second half with what looks like a bad leg injury...so wont see him for a while

was going well in his loose forward roll too, so looks like we will see alot more of lee in that role.

I'd like to thank the Giants fan who attended, probably around 700, easily your best following to East Hull since we got into SL. Hopefully we can offer you better accomodation next year.

As for the game, at 18-6 you were 1 more score from winning the game but threw some stupid passes. Scott Taylor came on for us and changed the game. Hope Brown is ok, he was taking the pee out of us, great player. I think you would have won with him on the pitch. Credit to Rovers though, we finally matched your forwards and got our reward.

The Brown injury changed the game. Looked quite bad unfortunately for you guys. After his injury you had no answer to the dominance shown by our props whereas before you were killing us on that left edge.
Your full-back is prone to brain explosions which are probably just as a result of him being so young but today will not have done his confidence any good, I wouldn't want to be him on Friday night if Leeds do their homework this week.

Our fullback has those brain explosions every game and it honestly doesn't harm his confidence- as he showed when he carved up your defence a few times. Future England player.

Not many future england players have brain explosions every game.
He showed his naivety when attempting to catch a ball that was about 10ft in the air and inevitably flicking it into touch.
If he's got the potential that you think he needs to iron out those errors.

He showed some great touches and was a threat going forward, made about four awful errors though.

He's got time on his side though and looks like he'll come good.

Will be exactly like the Golf stand was before it was taken down. Held the away fans with a few Rovers fans who couldn't get seats in the West Stand as it's sold out to season pass holders.
