To be fair, it is not easy to defend out wide against us at the moment. When Briers and Monaghan are playing and when Bridge is given free rein, then it is pretty thrilling to be a Wire fan. Hicks and Riley must think all their Christmases have come at once.

I could not believe what i saw or heard on that terrace yesterday and Brett looked like he wanted to dissapear and hide somewhere, when he came across for the warm down and the boos started he looked up to the fans and pointed at himself and opened his hands out as if to say " is that for me ?" and that encouraged them even more.
i was down at the front and shouted encouragement to Brett to ignore them and told him thats not what everyone thinks.

So what if this bloke has decided to go and do the same job he's doing for us for a different company, he's stilla Fartown player - he is our Captain, our leader and the current man of steel and has given everything for this club in the last 2 years and will continue to until he leaves us and does not deserve what he got yesterday, the poor bloke looked devastated and was cleary upset by it and i dont care who he's playing for next season YOU DO NOT BOO YOUR TEAM'S CAPTAIN IN FRONT OF HIS FACE !!

We support the team, support the players, support the club AS ONE and if you dont wanna do that then leave because i dont want people like you supporting my beloved club!!

Yes. Some people do know the full facts about Brett Hodgson's decision to sign for Warrington. On his performances since the announcement and his return from injury, magically early I might add, it would ne nice for him to step down from his contract for the rest of the year.

Young Raaaaymond saw the team in the gym yesterday and was just on his way tell Brett not to take any notice of the ones shouting abuse and how we were behind him, when he got into the pool, and couldn't say anything. So, if your reading this Brett - We felt really sorry that you had to take that on Sunday and we were embarrassed at a very small amount of our following. Never thought I'd hear anything like that from our fans. It's fair to say you have been a massive influence on our club and we will always have fond memories of you playing for us.

Daz i dont about u but that is what i will do at bardford and for the rest of the season. The chants for brett hodgson will be the most i come out with now until the end of the season and what you said before about supporting him and etc. I totally agree and i am behind you on this.

Agree wholeheartedly with that GIANT DAZ, I saw it and it wasn't pleasant for Brett or the rest of the players warming down. The problem is that there are a minority that get give the majority a bad name. It's up to the majority to make their feelings felt - if you don't it's like not voting at the General Election, you get the democracy you deserve. He is and will be until the end of the season a great servant for this club - to be treated like he was was an utter disgrace.

Some Wakey numptys have taken to booing JD as well - it amazes me how players like Brett and JD, who have NEVER given less than 100% and have ALWAYS honoured their contracts, laying their bodies on the line for the club, can be picked on like this. For what Brett has given Huddersfield over the course of his contract he should be guaranteed a warm welcome at the Galpharm whoever he's playing for in the future. It's not as if he's strung you along or become 'homesick' to get out of his contract!

On the other hand - can't wait to see the reception DB gets when he comes back to Belle Vue (with you?)!
