There is some truth in that Woolford seems to be given the opportunity to shape the team.. we will see if we get anyone else and how it goes next season. I do have a feeling though that Woolford tenure will be decided by Frawley.

Very interesting on Mamo if so, presumably on less wages, guess he couldn't get an nrl gig. He's a talent for me and still young, maybe try and develop him and darnell under Grix and tell them the shirt is up for grabs.

Not sure if we need another forward, however if we got rid of Walne id take a Garbutt or Amor, I suppose that would free Taai up to play second row.

There isn’t a quota spot though unless either Mano or Ikihifho leave. Matagi took Wakeman’s spot. Hinchcliffe has gone and presumably Rankin and we have brought in Frawley and Uate.

What are the rules now with overseas players? how many are we allowed?

We've got 5 spots, but ACP players don't count towards it, so we get Matagi (Samoa), Ukuma (Tonga) and Uate (Fiji) for free, as far as I'm aware.

That means our quota players are Rankin, Frawley and Seb. If Mamo signs, then that still leaves us with an extra spot (feel free to correct me on that as it's changed a lot over the years)

Current rules I believe are 7 Non Fed Trained spots, quota/Kolpak etc is irrelevent. So I'd imagine those players named take up your 7

So if Rankin leaves as rumored, we will have 1 spot available!

Could see Mamo as centre with Turner moving to loose forward. Bring in a quality overseas forward and I think we have a really strong squad.
