Tomkins came back from Union a much lesser player than when he went, as did Sam from NZ, I always wished Sam had not gone over there, he looked a special talent to me with that long ground eating stride, Anyway they have knocked the vinegar out of him over there, He would still get into any SL side but he ain't the player he was.

We could do worse than cast a eye over Drinkwater, he will come second to Tomkins at the Dragons.

Sam Tomkins would replace his counterpart at just about any club, but fair enough it's a matter of opinion, I thought Drinkwater had been a part of the Dragons revival myself, certainly looked good against us, but not seen all that much of him,
Far more likely Giants would get Ellis back from Cas , that's more our style, particularly while he's injured.
